has anyone experienced travelling to Europe with a stopover in Abu Dhabi? My flight's on the 24th and from KL-Abu Dhabu-Berlin-Poland. I am now wondering if I will still require a transit visa if I won't go out of Abu Dhabi airport since and I will just be at the airport in AbuDhabi waiting for my connecting flight.
Will I be questioned at the immigration of Abu Dhabi?
Mmmm... Thanks po sa sasagot. =)
Nung pumunta ako sa website ng Spain Embassy in Manila, wala masyadong info about how to apply at sa mga requirements na kailangan to submit for a short stay visa.
Anyone knows if may ibang site kung saan makikita ang info about it?
mmm... ang alam ko halos pare-pareho lang ang requirements ng schengen countries when it comes to people getting visas..
u need to have:
hotel accomodation
itenerary
bank certs
travel insurance
ticket reservation
if you will have a place to stay in Spain, like a sponsor, then there's no need for hotel accomodation but your sponosr have to get an official invitation letter.
goodluck =)

The Finnish legistation allows the family member of a Finnish citizen to travel to Finland in order to file a residence permit application at a local police. But even if an applicant is a family member (e.g.spouse), the status does not accord him or her an automatic right to a visa. Also in this case a person has to fulfill the general visa requirements.
Note : Late registrations are not accepted as such, the applicant must also provide e.g. school records (elementary or high school originals, Form 137) or hospital records of birth. Important : the embassy requires true verified copies of documents that led to late registration of a birth/death from the competent Civil Registrar, should these documents not meet the requirements of Rule 26 of the Philippine Administrative Order the birth/death certificate in question will not be accepted.
Note: If the applicant and/or husband/wife was married before, an annulment/divorce/death certificate on NSO security paper authenticated by DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) has to be provided.
If the applicant was single before marriage, the single status certificate called Certificate of No Marriage in the national indices of marriage on NSO security paper authenticated by DFA has to be provided.

After the visa decision has been made
The Embassy doesn't inform applicants when the visa decision has been made. The applicant has to make inquiries concerning the status of his/hers visa application personally. Visa inquiries can be made during Embassy's opening hours from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm and on Fridays from 8 am to 2.15 pm, tel. +63-2-891 5011.
Upon collecting one's visa, the applicant must produce duly paid return tickets and traveller's insurance and copies of both.
Thanks for your replies
Has anyone applied for a Schengen visa at the VFS Global office for the Spanish Embassy lately?
I don't have a work kaya pinalabas na lang na ako yun operations manager ng business namin(trucking business). Nung andun na kami sa embassy, meron dun sa side ng building kung san aayusin nila yun mga docs mo, i gave them all the docs needed. Kaso nag kaproblem, nagbago na sila ng policies, nahingi na sila ng proof of relationship sa nag invite, or continue yun process BUT the chances of getting a visa, malabo, mahirap.
Thinking na all the needed docs are all there.
then nung andun na ako, yun VO checked my requirements.
Asked niya if ginawa ko lang ba daw yun bank account ko para dun & i said no kasi lumipat lang talaga ako ng bank(from bdo to bank of commerce, madami kasi laging tao sa bdo, hassle na minsan, unlike sa boc medyo kaunti & my kua is also working in san miguel) and i said half of the money ipon ko then the other half galing sa parents ko. 143+++ yun money ko.
The VO asked where is the proof of our relationship and i said we are distant relatives. Actually, i expected to ask questions kaso wala siyang tinanong masyado, she focused on my docs. I told her na will she allow me to get my other reqs sa car and she answered na late na daw, magllunchbreak na. Naiinis ako sa sarili ko kung bat hindi ko pa sinama yun ibang reqs, on the 2nd thought, just what the girl instructed me, yun folder (& an id) lang yun dadalhin ko dun sa taas.
After the interview, alam ko na mababa yun chances na magrant yun visa ko. Sobrang depressing.
Question. Pwede pa ba akong mag apply ulit ng visa? Saan ba mas madali and hondi ganun kahigpit? Thanks!![]()
Hello everyone,
Is it just correct that the Visa (Schengen) validity covers the departure/arrival date earlier/later, even if I'm technically not in the area yet? It's a Business Visa stamped with a specific validity date.
For example:
Visa Issued From: June 25 to: July 7
Itinerary:
June 25 Departure from Manila, June 26 Arrival to Schengen Area
July 6 Departure from Schengen Area, July 7 Arrival in Manila
TIA!
I am so happy approved yung Schengen visa ko. Ang bilis lang ng processing time.
Lodged application on Aug 19
Processed visa application received by the VFS office (Spain Visa Center) on Aug 22
Picked up passport on Aug 25
Yung binigay sa aking validity
August 20th to September 15
Multiple Entry
Duration of Stay is 12 days
Please correct me if I am wrong this means I can enter the Schengen area multiple times (coming from the Non-Schenge area like the UK) provided each entry wouldn't exceed 12 days right?
Hi there!
I'm planning to apply for my Schengen visa this coming September as I was invited by a friend to stay in Germany for a few weeks. My dilemma is that I have been a part time worker and then recently just absorbed by the company which I am working in. I have no problems with certification because my friend will get this Formal Obligation doc from his place.
What is boggling me is the fact that I don't have strong ties in the Philippines as I am currently single and don't have much property. The only thing I can present is my current application staus for immigrant visa in the US. It is still pending and I have to really go back to the Philippines once my day for the interview comes.
Will this be a valid reason for strong ties?
Thanks!
J
