I would recommend La Luz Resorts. It's in San Juan, Batangas - a good 3 hours of travel. There's a website: http://www.laluzresort.com

    Uhm ... just a comment. I like Punta Baluarte ... but ... I don't like their beach.

But isn't punta fuego by menbership only? I have been wanting to go there but I am not sure if we will be allowed to go into the resort.

I don't remember Punta Baluarte being a white sand beach. In fact, the last time I was there (which was about a decade ago!), we weren't even allowed to swim on the beach (by the 'rents). I guess that means the beach really isn't nice?

Lago de Oro (is this what you were referring to ThaHuStLa?) and Punta Baluarte are both in Calatagan.

The best beach in batangas is the one at munting buhangin. It is just beside punta fuego, so can practically swim on the waters fronting punta fuego. The beach is not really that white but good enough. The crystal clear swimming area is sooooo good, it feels great on the feet. the sand is powdery as boracays. No irritating pebbles, stones or corals. The slope is perfect for swimming as well, it is as if you're in a big swimming pool. And is definitely better than puerto galera. So for swimmabilty, it is perfect.

Just discovered the place two weeks ago with my mountaineer friends.
Rate for day tour is Php130 and Php150/pax for overnight stay. Accommodations stat at Php 1200 ? (forgot Tent fee is 300 each. If you use their tent, its 700. Bring your volleyball though for it rents 100/hour.
