But still, they look GOOD, at the very least. Maybe not the face, but the body. Also, good looks may not always be the conventional good looks type. In the case of Alek and Wilma, their looks are the exotic type, something that commands attention. Hindi lang sila basta pretty-prettyhan. Unlike in print or tv ad, kahit sino puwede. Kahit panget ka or wala kang ka-appeal appeal (unless na beauty soap or other beauty products).

Another thing, runway models are more pressured to maintain a certain weight and height.

glamour, i'll advise u not to go in elan. u'll have a 2 yr exclusive contract kasi eh. pano kung walang mangyari sa iyo dun? hihintayin mo pa ang 2 yrs niyan. tsaka they'll ask u to spend at least 5 thou for your zedcard. eh sa photographer na kilala ko, portfolio plus zedcard na yun. eh gusto ng elan sila mismo ang kukuha ng pic mo. yun nga lang, inclusive na ang sa make-up artist dun sa 5 thou. but still, u shouldn't be spending as much. sa ibang agencies nga libre lang daw yun eh. tsaka sa iba bibigyan ka pa ng free make-over, etc...

try nyo modelshop, weekly sila nagbibigay ng VTRs. chaka sila din kukuha ng pix mo, no charge. kahit hindi ka super ganda, if you know how to act and of course, maganda ka ngumiti. yun ang pinakaimportante.
