    1. submission of resume & TOR in 4rth Flr. PAGCor House goodnews since they are still accepting walk-ins. (word of advice you really have to come early before 10am if you want to your application to be processed within a day.)

    2. If you pass their screening ( college units taken should not be less than 80 units).then you will be schedule for a time pressured exam. I think it was 35 items consists of mental math, vocabulary, grammar etc. If your 40+ that took the exam expect that most of the your group will go home by the end (If you pass it then you would stay) in my batch almost half failed.
    3. If you one of the lucky ones then the next step is ishihara and height according to their requirements for male its 5'6 and 5'4 for female but the reality its 5'7 1/2 for male and 5'5 for female. The clerk in the clinic really pushes the height lever down till it touches your scalp. so it doesnt matter if you have a spikey hair.so if your height is exactly 5'6 then you have to minus 1 inch. haha i think their height scale is too low.(my advice you your not sure your height will pass their requirements then better not apply sayang *** sa time mo.
4.From half were not down to 6 applicants 3 of which were only qualified for the dealer position. (I think face value have a factor it doestn mean you have to be good looking you just need to be pleasant.

    5. Next we were schedule for the Math exam its 60 items 1hr, right minus wrong purely mental math (just facing your paper that its) consist of basic algebra,+,-,/,x (on the good side its multiple choice.) but if its up to you kung manghula ka.( being not a mathematician) sumakit ang ulo ko ng sobra. and one seat apart doesnt help either. I only answered 33 items so I expect to fail but that's ok. since I was only among the few that got there and that's good enough for me btw sa batch nmen 2 nlng kme nag math exam.sbi ng facilitator we will received a txt next week if we pass if not then better try looking for another job.
    6. The following week 4 days to be precise after I took my math exam I recieved a text from Pagcor info me for a Panel Interview. The inteview took about 10-15mins. its up to you if there are interested in you or how you make the conversation. (pwede mag tagalog).easy *** *** interview.
    7. then medical FYI I think their particular whether you have scoliosis.

Hope my INFO will help aspiring applicants.
(Sorry for some wrong grammar..its the thought that counts).

The HR ladies were very helpful natawa ko dun sa nagbbgay ng 1st exam very frank pag di ka pumasa ssbhin nya "alright Mr./s. pwede kna umuwi.
putakte yang pagcor eh sablay ako sa dealer kulang sa height ... nilagay ako sa vault clerk since ayaw ko na mag call center gusto ko try sa pagcor for career growth (sana)

oo nakakatawa nga yung examiner medyo may pagka mataray na mabait pero mababait naman yung hr people sa totoo lang... pre employment na ako and i plan to complete the process with 1 to 1 1/2 months since na operahan ako eh

haha still good for you at least they have consider you for a position, cause they have alot of applicants but only few are chosen, BTW what is a vault clerk? are you going to guard a vault or count what is inside, yeah they very strict with the height then after that there the excrutiating math exam. but after all the pain worth it ****. I'm currently on training in Cavite and all of us males are really tall and also the females.good luck to you. and the pay as a dealer is good well hopefully that's what I'm expecting to get. but 2days off makes it better.

My father used to worked here for more than 20 years so back in 80's pa sya ng start. Nag early retirement sya and got almost a million which is ubos na ngayon
    - napagod na kasi sya sa work, and nakagraduate naman na kameng lahat

Since this is a government company usong uso politika dito.. Palakasan talaga kailangan may kapit ka kung gusto mong mapromote or makapasok kagad.

sabi ng father ko mababa basic salary dito pero malaki ang tip allowance nila. Everyday may inuuwe syang tip kaya gaganahan kang pumasok which is non taxable pa. my father worked 6 times a week na shifting every week.

"its not what you know, its who you know". and to make matters worse it doesnt necessary means na pag nag training ka may work kna, may bumbgaksak din *** dun, un lang.well ganun **** no pain,no gain.

Masaya naman yung training kasi marami kang matutunan, yet nakakapagod. Hindi mo kasi pwedeng ipahinga yung kamay mo the whole day.

Pero at the end of the day, masasanay din kayo. Repetition lang ang sagot dun. Pag paulit ulit nyo ginagawa. Bibilis at gagaling din kayo. Next thing you know, sisiw na sainyo mag deal. Kahit nakapikit kayang kaya. hehe

Goodluck sa mga magttraining at nagttraining! Hand in hand we overcome the odds!

That is next to impossible for the dealers. We are always the apple of the eye of the eye in the sky.

If you don't have a "backer", it's nearly impossible to get in. My friend who works there had to wait for over a year to get hired. He's now working in one of the hotels near UP Manila. I forget which.

Their training lasted for a couple of months. The top 5 got to pick which hotel they wanted to work in. Top 6 until 20 got to make a list of hotel preferences within Metro Manila. Those who didn't make it to the top 20 were assigned to the province. Btw, after the training, the top 20 (I think) were given the choice whether they wanted to work in the casino or have an administrative job in PAGCOR.

As for the salary, it goes without saying that it pays well. My friend gets nearly 20K a month (his first job). The tips are divided equally so that even during his days-off, he earns at least 5K in tips.
I respectfully disagree to your first paragraph. I got the dealer's job without any "backer." I went to the normal process, which is really hard. During my time (last year), we are 50+ in my batch that took the IQ exam but only 5 left (including myself) -- that has been the trend for so many years. There were times according to some that out of 70 applicants only one person advanced to the next level. That's how stringent the process is. Subsequently, they qualified me to take the math exam which for me is harder compared to the IQ test (contrary to the belief of others); because math has always been my predicament ever since. Then the final interview, which I think is a matter of formality. The next one is the medical and the neuro exam, likewise I overcame it with conformity to PAGCOR's standard. And the last and of course not the least is the training. It's a month long, 6-days a week strenuous training without any allowance. Though it will also be helpful if you know someone inside.

With regard to your 2nd paragraph, yes the top 3 has the privilege to pick a branch they want to work at; but it does not necessarily mean that the others will surely assigned in the province (though that has been the trend) but it will depend on the need of the branches here in Manila. Kung may o atpening, dun ka ilalagay.

For the salary, the basic is 11k (exclusive of taxes and other deductions). To sum it up you'll be getting 9k+ a month for the salary. Plus, constant 350 pesos for daily tip (entry level). And the "sipag," which you'll be getting 10% of your overall tip per cut-off. And the differential (centralized tip), which all the dealers will part the sum of the tips equally.
