I am not a fan of sans rival....until I tasted the one from Cebu! Sarap niya talaga, it's not that buttery kaya hindi nakakaumay. I bought mine at the Mactan airport...medyo pricey nga lang (mahal talaga pag sa airport bumili). Sabi ng friend ko the family who sells the sans rival has a store near SM Cebu. She doesn't know where exactly.

The butter that Goldilocks uses nowadays is just...vile. Buttercream is all about the butter!

^ you might want to try Figaro's version, crunchy rin yung sans rival nila. Crunchier than Goldilocks', really.

After seeing their stand in Puregold Shaw everytime I do my groceries, I finally tried their wares and bought two of Cafe Ysabel's (Gene Gonzales) Sans Rival cakes. The display stand shows different flavors of Sans Rival Mocha, Chocolate, Ube, Mango, pistachio and the classic sans rival. I bought a classic and a chocolate sans rival about P140 each.
