Thanks for sharing that! Would you happen to remember the days and time slots for some of the shows? For example, was Three's Company on Sundays at 9 pm? Was it followed by the Benny Hill Show? Was Quincy on for an hour after that, then the news at 11, followed by Tales of the Unexpected at 11:30?

Muppet Show was at 6 pm, Donny and Marie at 8 pm, Three's Company at 9 pm. In the 80s, Penthouse Live aired at 10 pm.

Thanks! Was it news at 7 pm? What was at 7:30 and 9:30? Was it Quincy at 10 pm during the '70s, then news at 11, followed by Tales of the Unexpected at 11:30?

The news on GMA was always at 7 pm back in the 80s. Tina Monzon-Palma and Tony Zorilla did the news. I remember, The A-Team was on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm while Knight Rider was on Wednesdays at 8:30 pm. Remington Steele, the series that launched Pierce Brosnan before he became James Bond, was on Mondays at 8:30 pm.

The A-Team was made into a movie with Liam Neeson playing Hannibal Smith but it did not do well at the box-office. GMA now airs James Bond movies on Sundays but they are dubbed in Tagalog. I wonder who will dub Pierce Brosnan's voice in Tagalog once his Bond movies get aired.

Tagalog-dubbed Bond? Holy schmokes. Good luck imitating Connery Bond's Scottish accent!

    "Ejector seat? Nagbibiro ka ba?

    "Hindi biro trabaho ko, 007."

GMA is not only airing Tagalized movies. TV5 does this everyday. Even ABS dubbed Twilight Saga New Moon in Tagalog when it was aired last Sunday.

This move by GMA in dubbing Bond movies in Tagalog proves that their Sunday programming really sucks unlike before when they aired Penthouse Live on Sundays.

Even their Sunday talk show with Ogie Alcasid and Michael V is an obvious imitation of Gandang Gabi Vice on ABS.
