    Thanks!

Bratz could definitely wear Filipiniana. It would be more challenging because their bodies are smaller. I think they would look great in those dresses.

    My latest project...

I use Barbie's and dolls with the same size. I use most of them in my comic strip. Gusto ko sana more or less same size sila, sixth-scale.

Hobby lang 'to. I don't think I have enough skills to turn it into a business.

Lately I'm into Filipiniana attire. This is my latest project. I call her Aling Openg.

I made her nose wider using epoxy clay and painted it. It's difficult for me to make it smooth and adjust the color to match her skin tone.
    wow you're good!!

Thanks trubloodedpinay. Sana may iba pang mag-post ng dolls pics nila. It doesn't have to be in Filipiniana attire, like this Pocahontas doll I got from an ukay-ukay. The accessories I got from a store called Zulit for only PhP50. What can I say? I'm a cheapskate.

What are fashion dolls without clothes, right?

I got these from a local shop called Heavenly Stitchin' Moment. I have been passing along this shop at the basement of SM North EDSA but I didn't realize that they were selling these. Their display window only showed craft materials related to cross stitching, scrap books, paper tole and beading. I couldn't find the need to check what else they sell.

I learned about it when I accidentally saw another branch in the Mall of Asia. They have a lovely fully furnished dollhouse on display. The size is smaller than what Barbie could appreciate but some items, specially the miniature food, could work in a sixthscale diorama. Too bad they didn't carry the old sewing machine. I asked if the cashier if they have other branches selling the sewing machine. MOA is quite out of the way to visit regularly for new stocks. I was told to try their branch at SM North EDSA. The next day, I did and got me these. Weee!

Hi Tahann! How much for the mini accessories of your doll from North Edsa? esp. the sewing machine? I noticed you're into dressing them in Filipiniana dresses, if you need one of a kind accessories for your dolls you could work with me, I'm into miniatures too but not into dolls, more like food and others.
PM me for something specific, I'll do it for free and we could do meet-ups somewhere in Edsa.

    Wow that's great!

I like miniatures that can go well with the dolls. I'm always on a look out of little things like ref magnets and key chains. Below, for example, the bento box is a key chain I got from Divisoria.

If I remember correctly, the sewing machine cost me PhP95. It's made of metal.

Right now I'm trying to make other Asian inspired dresses. A gown that has an Indian (not native American) flavor is currently the on-going project.

I was thinking the doll could use miniature jewelries. Have you tried making little jewelries?

That bento box is seriously cute haha, that's what I'm doing currently, miniature food. So far I really like the vegetables I've made, like you I'm more into Filipino themes. Meron na akong labanos, kangkong, petchay, etc.

Thanks Tahann! I wanna buy that sewing machine too it's so cute.

I haven't tried making jewelries for dolls yet, but I'll try to this night.
Maybe you could send me a photo of what you have in mind, and I'll try if I can replicate it. Just PM me if you have the reference photos na.

I remember a Nenita doll diorama being sold in Kultura. There was a palengke scene. There was a table filled with fruits and veggies. There were also baskets of fruits and an empty bayong.

I'll PM you regarding the jewelries I had in mind.

Polymer clay is great too, but I use a different sort of clay with similar cured properties, PM'd you about it.

Pasensya na po. Hindi ko po binebenta yung dolls.

If you like kayungmanggi dolls you may want to go to the Mall of Asia. Last week, I saw a doll in Igorot attire being sold in a souvenir shop in there. Sorry but I forgot the name of the shop.

I remembering seeing the same doll in the Filipiniana section of Landmark but that was years ago.
