Yep.. one of the very few teams to be able to keep their team in town.
take that, seattle!!!!
the team just isn't the same anymore once it moves to a new town.
just like the grizzlies, and the hornets, and maybe the sonics/ thunder.
From Sactown Royalty
The Kings need the number one pick because the universe needs balance.
Life often seems chaotic, but on a grand scale the laws of nature are continually gathering pieces of an ever-growing puzzle, revealing purpose and clarity to those who take the time to see it. Waves cannot exist without the troughs between them; roots must burrow into the earth for sprouts to soar into the sky. Universal harmony requires that every yin must have its complementary opposite yang. Every Demarcus Cousins must have its Anthony Davis.
Cousins, an offensive force of pure tact and skill, is a conundrum in his own right. He is simultaneously a brutish bully and a delicate artisan. His heft is both an asset and a restraint. His rebounding is rough and sharp as the coarsest stone; his jump shot and post moves as soft and pretty as wispy clouds.
Davis, a once-in-a-generation defensive prodigy, is a wondrous physical specimen of pure athleticism. He is all arms and instincts. He rarely seeks his offense, but when it finds him it is straightforward and efficient. His manner is as even-keeled as his defensive playmaking is devastating.
These men are two halves of frontcourt nirvana. Their talents combine to bring peace to the Kings’ universe. They are root and stalk, and we shall enjoy their bountiful harvest for many seasons to come. But it is not only the on-court production that meets in perfect harmony. Demarcus Cousins has eyebrows that match his offensive skill: elegant, graceful, and balanced.
Anthony Davis is, again, the complementary opposite.
Bring balance to the universe, Basketball Gods. Bring the Kings the number one pick. Bring us the brow.
Kings have the #5 pick. IMO here's what they should do:
1) Trade Evans while he still has value. The Kings will not get a superstar in return, but if they can get some frontcourt depth or a CJ Watson in return, they should pull the trigger.
2) Trade John Salmons. This guy is worthless.
3) Draft Harrison Barnes. He will be the perfect compliment to Boogie's inside game plus he's willing and capable of making big shots.
Bibilin ba talaga ni MVP ang Sac Kings? Or partial owner lang?
Any updates?![]()
Wow! First it was DMC dropping to us at 5...not it's T-Rob..... That is one hell of a frontcourt duo! All we need now is a respectable SF! Keep JT and get rid of Hayes
Tuloy ba yun pagbili ng MVP group yun Sacramento Kings? Is it only some shares of stocks or the whole company?
NBA: League suspends Kings rookie Robinson two games for elbow
November 9, 2012 8:09am
The NBA has suspended Sacramento Kings rookie power forward Thomas Robinson for two games, Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vic President Basketball Operations announced Thursday (Friday, PHL time) in an official release.
Robinson threw an elbow at the neck of Detroit Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko during the Kings' game Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time) in Sacramento, at the ten-minute mark of the fourth quarter. He was slapped with a Flagrant Foul Two and got ejected from the game.
The product of the University of Kansas was the fifth overall pick in the 2012 draft and through five games, has averages of 4.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 13 minutes of action.
He will serve his suspension during games against the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers. - AMD, GMA News

oh no at the bottom of the western conference again. When will the kings get a superstar allstar player???
divac, webber, stojakovic, christie and bibby as starters
jackson and turkoglu off the bench.
one of the best line up ever
Marcus Thornton should be starting with this kind of team they have in Sac-Town...
Tyreke, Thornton, Johnson, Thompson and Cousins will definitely a formidable starting 5!
It's so sad that this team still keeps on losing. Coach really sucks! Can't rotate the right players..
Put Robinson instead of Thompson so the bench will not be too small. Still can't believe they gave Hayes a long contract! Geez...
Sinayang nila yung picks nila 2011, instead of picking Faried, Knight, Kemba or Thompson, they got Fredette.
2012, instead of picking Drummond, Lilard or Barnes, they got TRob.
Sayang talaga.
Kemba
Tyreke
Barnes
Thompson
Cousins
Pwedeng pang-8th seed ang line up na yan.
Sana i-trade na nila Tyreke. Can't read this guy.
Too slow as a PG. Can't shoot threes as an SG. Too small as an SF.
Can't even work together with DMC.
Was really hoping they took Rubio instead of Evans. Can't see a bright future at all for this team.
