Hi! I just saw this thread & i just want to share with you guys the pre-school my boys went to. It's Alphabet house in P. Guevarra. Super okay bec. all the teachers have good masteral background. They speak good english & the school has a very good curriculum. Although they teach mandarin also. So to those kids who don't need it for the big school will find this useless. In my case, i need it bec. Xavier (where my kids are now) teaches mandarin as well.

wow!!! ang mahal mahal na magpaaral ng kids nowadays!! oh my gulay!! i'm planning to get married na nga sometime next year, pero narealize ko kelangan talaga sure ball ka sa finances lalo na for the kids.. grabe sa mahal ang schools lalo na pag private schools.

Wag exclusive as much as possible. HS ko exclusive lang kami for girls and its not healthy for your social life...what more kung grade school to HS, naku pow!!!

education is a right and not a mere privilege. kaya nakakagalit talaga ang educational system natin ngayon. ang laki laki ng binabayad para sa pagpapaaral. sa private schools, halos 'di magkanda ugaga ang mga parents sa pagtatrabaho para lang mabigyan ang anak nila ng "best" education. sa public schools naman, sobrang kalunos lunos ang situation. jampacked classrooms, outdated books, kakulangan sa chairs and tables, kakulangan sa mga teachers (1:60 ratio, usually 2-3 shifts pa ang pagtuturo, at syempre overworked and underpaid pa sila). pero kahit ganun ang dami dami pa ring napipilitang magdropout from public schools kasi pataas nang pataas din ang mga binabayaran. kahit sa private schools ganun ang case. kaya mas nakakagalit na hindi pinaprioritize ng government ang educ, kahit na malinaw sa consti natin na no 1 priority dapat nila ito. tapos ngayon, balita pa na ang state colleges, less than half ng budget ng military lang ang matatanggap. kamusta naman yun? tapos, heto pa ngayon ang evat. sa social services daw mapupunta ang makokolekta nila, tulad ng sa educ sector. naniniwala ba kayo dun? grabe talaga. lahat talaga ng mga problema sa pilipinas, magkakakonekta.

sorry for the loooonnggg post. just felt the need to rant--not just simply to rant but to be heard as well.

well, i have to agree with you..

what will happen to us in the next 10 years? starve to death? baka dumating ang time na we can't afford to buy food anymore sa sobrang dami ng problema ng bansa... know what my prof said? he said that after we graduate we'd better go to another country and work there kc daw hopeless na daw ang pinas... with the rate that we're going, our officials should wake up and stop corrupting our fellow filipinos..

a bad president, a bad government PLUS bad officials DON'T MIX!
