hi benjiely! where are you from? there's a new progressive school here in pasig (kapasigan)where my 4yo son is also enrolled at. tuition is at P37k +P100/wk food allowance where the teacher prepares only healthy foods (kaya ayun natutong kumain ng gulay, red rice, suman, buco at kung anu-ano pa). we're very very satisfied with this school! We've been through a lot of pre-schools with my 2 older boys na medyo pricey pa nga but this one is by far the best for us - relatively low na ang fees considering the impressive facilities & teaching tools/materials and of course the teachers are very competent. low student to teacher ratio (max of 6 per class only). my boy is really thriving in this school. It's called Creative Space. Just let me know if you're interested so I can give you the contact details.

OFW kami ni misis for more than 6 years. Uuwi na ako early next month with my 7 yr. old daughter.

Anyway, this thread is a good source of info. Keep them coming!

Macky, I am also an OFW for 8 years now. I also bought 4 educational plans for my four kids from CAP. So i was thinking of cashing my policies or is this the best decision? I may be on the wrong thread here but i just want some suggestions on how to deal with this. As you said the government cannot protect the rights of policyholders of preneed plans and knowing that tuition fees rise each year, I don`t know if i can send my kids to the school i want them to go.

the tuition fees of schools posted here is unbelievable. educating a kid nowadays is very expensive. i went to state schools all my life and i didn`t spent that much. one year tuition fee at Poveda is what i spent for my 4 year stay at UP. napa AHHH talaga ako sa tuition fees.

Bale PHP30K ang bayad sa amin for 10 years may umuupa o wala (realtor is Regalla Group of Companies).

di advisable ang exclusive school for kids. i came from an exclusive girls' school from grade school to high school, and as far as my experience goes, it didn't make my outlook of boys healthy. boys and girls should be allowed to interact with each other early on in their lives. After all, in the real world, boys and girls, male and female, do have to coexist, right? better to start them early getting used to the opposite sex.
