how about this...

The price of too much enjoyment while playing a famous RPG game back in PS1, sorry forgot the title.

I intentionally didn't want to finish the game cos I don't want it to end, nasa last part na ako ng game nun, so what I did is I played for more than 110hours WITHOUT actually finishing the game(maybe my total time was 115hrs max), and I never did.



2) playing Megaman X3 in the PS1 for the whole day without resting the cd, the end result? I finished the game but I never played it again cos the cd got BURNED! 6am to 6pm straight without taking a break back when I was in the 7th grade, umuulan nun at biglang na suspend yung classes back in 1997. My mom began smelling smoke and saw smoke coming out of my playstation, when I got the CD out it has burned marks and there were burned marks too in the playstation. (an accomplishment for not releasing the controller even for one second for 12 straight hours and finished the game)

totally completed all of gt2, all cars, all modded, and finished all races 1st including the endurance races, which are 45 lap races, lasting for 2.5 to 3 hours

and finally really learned how to fly the f-16 in falcon 4.0. man, that 480 page manual and 300-plus keyboard shortcuts sure are daunting.

My Accomplished Games:

1. Suikoden 1 and 2 - completed all 108 stars and uncovered almost all secrets without walkthroughs.

2. Final Fantasy 9 - Got the ultimate weapons of every character without guides. Defeated Ozma for the second consecutive try with Zidane, Freya, Vivi and Steiner in the party. Completed all quests and sub-quests successfully.

That's all for now.. I'll go to sleep.. Very sleepy y'knw..

FFVII: completed all side-quests, defeated both Ruby and Emerald Weapon, got all the ultimate weapons and completed the item list

FFVIII: max all the characters, ultimate weapons, gf's, cards and item list, and I had the proof of omega! pati nakakita ako ng isang pupu!!!

FFX: completed all sidequests, ultimate weapons, aeons and I had a 150-0 record in blitzball (yep, ganyan ako kaadik sa blitzball... kahit yun championship game sa Luca first few hours, napalunan ko ng first try)

Suikoden II, III & IV - completed all the 108 stars

Wild Arms III - completed all sidequests even that tower of abyss???(forgot the name though, that tower which you can't land on and has over a hundred levels)...

PS3 should at least follow Xbox Live's implementation of this. you can brag about your game accomplisments (you have PROOF!! ) of what games you beat and all your game achievements

I finished Final Fantasy X... and all side quests.

Have started but not finished FFVII, FFIX. FFX-2.

Have also started Naruto RPG on PS2... was able to beat
Chouji... hahahahahha... it took me two weeks to figure out
how can I beat him... lame lame me.

I have played a lot of games from the old Atari until the PS2 era. I probably have a lot of great accomplishments with video games the first thing that comes to mind for each category are:

Family Computer:
- Beat Iron Mike Tyson in Punch-out. I still remember the password for Iron Mike though I don't know why it's stuck in my head, it's 007-373-5963
- Same as everyone here, finishing Contra without dying. Is it me or have you noticed that the last boss in contra looks like a scrotum and there's also a p-e-n-i-s like figure that you have to beat at the beginning of the last stage. I think Contra ended my innocence there. LOL!

SNES:
- DragonBall Z 2. No great accomplishment, just one of the great fighting games in the SNES.
- Got all the endings in Chrono Trigger. Best RPG in this console along with FFIII.
- Looney Tunes Basketball. The most fun I ever had while playing with my friends using the PS Multi-tap. Best multi-player experience in the SNES.

Arcade:
- Finished the Simpsons arcade game alone and with only one token, from start to finish without anyone interrupting me.

PS1:
- Resident Evil 2. No great accomplishments, just the scariest experience I ever had. This is the first game I played after I bought my PS1, I didn't have a memory card then so I was not only scared of the game, I was also scared of dying. Almost had a heart attack everytime Nemesis appears.
- NBA Live (any series). 2 Multi-taps = 8 players, 'nuff said.

PS2:
- Too many great games and still fresh from memory so I can't just pick one.

PC:
- Civilization (any series). Hands down best game in the PC

I had my first MvC2 winning streak (3) eventhough this is my first time playing it last week.

I beat a good player in 3rd strike and made him leave the machine even though he's not yet beaten. I have been playing 3rd strike for a couple of hours.

My Dad's video game accomplishments
(btw, 27 years old na ako. He introduced me to gaming thru Atari then Famicom. ganyan siya ka hardcore dati )

Famicom:

1. Gulpe sa kanya si Tyson at si SUper Macho Man sa Punchout. naunahan pa niya ako.

2. Napauwi nya yung mga virus sa Dr. Mario sa planet nila. may dumating na UFO and sinundo yung mga virus. May jaw dropped kase akala ko walang katapusan ang Dr. Mario.

3. napasabog niya yung SPace shuttle sa Top Gun.

4. He used to play this Wrestling game for the Famicom DIsk System . forgot the title, pero yung wrestlers were Star Man, Warrior, a mongolian, a japanese, etc. anyone remember this? Somersault kick and flying cross body chop yung special ni Starman. Back breaker kay warrior. It was realistic for its time. Wala ngang health bars e!

Pink yung kulay ni starman and he had a blue star on his face.
normal human body yung itsura nila. hindi punggok.
