Re: OJT. Not really sure pero I've heard bad things sa OJT nila (one is walang allowance, grabe malaking company pa naman), plus hindi naman daw gaano kaganda ang training. Madami kayong ojt tas parang hindi naman magiging intense yung training/learning na matututunan. Try other companies pero kung wala, go ka na lang.

Job Description:
The Web Designer should have an extensive understanding of web standards such as HTML, xHTML, CSS and JavaScript. They should be an expert in using Adobe Photoshop / Fireworks, Dreamweaver and must be knowledgeable in JQuery framework and creation of tableless websites. They must design websites that are optimized and cross browser compatible, as well as design wireframes and mock-ups for client’s approval and modifications. Also, maintenance or updating of websites including testing and identifying technical problems and trouble-shooting.
NOTE: An applicant who has working experience in applying PSD files into CMS Wordpress or Joomla and shopping cart systems with added functionality and plug-in adaptation would be the ideal candidate.

Job Requirements:
• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Must have at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in using xHTML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Should possess intermediate to advanced graphic design skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML5, and using CMS platforms like Drupal, Joomla & Wordpress.
• Proficient in identifying and solving cross browser compatibility issues relating to HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Must have good understanding of landing pages, banners, email creatives, My SQL, and PHP.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment and to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines.
• Candidates with portfolio and experience in Flash animation would be an advantage.
• Candidates must be willing to work in Alabang Madrigal Business Park, Muntinlupa City.

PHP DEVELOPER

Job Description:
The PHP Developer is responsible in creating the look and feel of web pages for a client’s website. They are expected to design web pages that are uncomplicated for users and attractive to appeal the audience. Also, they will perform requirements gathering, system design and development to implement new Internet applications. The PHP Developer will work with business owners, content producers and creative designers in developing cutting edge web-based systems and on interactive devices.

Job Requirements:
• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Must have strong programming skills and hands-on experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

nung nag-apply ako dati, Sun gamit ko. na-interview naman ako, then naging project staff nila. nung interview sinabi ko pa nga na 'I hope my phone number doesn't affect my application.' pang joke lang, na for me is nakakatulong sa interview. sabi naman sa akin e hindi naman sila nagbe-base dun.

naku, balak ko pa naman mag-apply sa Globe. aalis na kasi ako sa Smart e. makabili na nga ng sim.

as far as I know, hindi po sila tumatanggap ng walk-in. you need to deposit your resume in their resume bank sa website nila, o kaya dun ka na mismo mag fill-up ng information tungkol sa'yo sa website nila.

ang daming OJT ngayon sa Smart. hindi ko sigurado hindi ko pa kasi natatanong yung mga OJT pero, yup! walang allowance ang pagkaka-alam ko. ganon din kasi last year. mas malala pa nga last year kasi, kasi pag may project deployment at ikaw ang tester. overnight ka rin. ngayon alam ko, for execution nalang ang mga OJT. sa part lang ito ng Quality Assurance department ha, hindi ko alam sa ibang department.

I think you could expect a salary between 15,000-20,000. So I guess your expectation is reasonable. I think you can compare your expected salary with your salary from your latest job experience related to the position you are applying for.
