Also experience waiting for 2-3 hours during my initial interview...ang tagal nun...so when I was interviewed na I asked so many questions para sulit ang paghihintay ko parang lumabas ako ang nang interview and I can even see at that time na parang uneasy yung hr sa mga questions ko...

May friend, who works there, said that I am schedule for another interview na daaw when he made a follow up sa HR nila eh december pa yun interview ko at Feb. na ngayon...siguro ayaw na nila ako interviewhin at magtatanong nanaman ako ng marami hehehehe

Mahilig sa violator at in your face VERY HARD SELL advertising ngunit siya ay isang marketing genius dahil siya ang nasa likod ng prepaid, pasa load, smart money, at iba pang innovations

my experience was different. i was there around 430 but i was actually scheduled 530. since di masyado madaming tao, mga past five na-interview na ko. ok naman yung interviewer, mukha naman mabait. i'm off to my 2nd interview tomorrow.

from what I know, here's how they got or will get their bonuses! during the 1st quarter, their president would set quarterly targets (example: number of subscribers, etc...). if the company meet or exceeded the target, automatic yun na may bonus. maybe this is the reason why they have to put in more hours and seemed to work on very fast pace style. ang masaya daw ay during christmas party, pag nasayahan si MVP, bigla na lang daw mag announce ng additional bonuses, kaya hanggang 20th month pay sila last year. i asked some of my friends, they say it' s sulit naman daw ang time nila against sa mga bonus nila. kumbaga, nakikita nila ang gigugol nila na oras. ang narinig ko bukod pa sa doon, meron yata silang company sponsored na parang vacation. they were sent to boracy, baguio and palawan all expenses paid by smart. parang "celebration" or something...not sure.

yup, ganyan nga daw sa kanila. and sa pagkakaalam ko, nagsisimulang maging makulay ang mundo nila starting every october . 3rd quarter bonus is october, 13th month pay is november and last year yata 3 months bonus nung december. yung parang company-sponsored outing nila is to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the company.

Opinion ko lang... I don't see anything wrong with the long hours and stressful life ng mag empleyado nila. In fact, sabi ng isang manager na kakilala ko: "this is the reason why we are number 1" . Hindi daw mahirap magiging number 1, ang mahirap daw ay ang ma maintain na being number 1! For me naman, if they offer the pay, the opportunity to grow and learn (not in that order), ok lang yung long hours and pressure. Di ba kaya nga tayo nag excel sa abroad kasi ganitong work ethics and habits yung pinakita natin sa mga dayuhan. Again, opinion ko lang.

I worked with Smart Communications for 3 and a half year and I would say very satisfied naman ako the way benefits and salary is concerned. And its true taolaga na nagbibigay sila ng bonus up to 18th month (yun lang kase inabot ko kase I left the company on January 2001) and I heard nga up to 20th month sila ngayon. Sa engineering department ako dati, sa Wireless Access-Systems Engineering. Nagbibigay sila ng training yun nga lang you have to sign a contract with them na mag stay ko for a certain time lalo na pag malaki nagastos sa yo kase mostly outside the country ang mga iyon. Pero still ano ba naman yung 1 hanggang dalawang taon na magpatali ka sa kanila eh during that time nag-grow ka na rin siguro sa field mo di ba I agree with PONSO I don't see anything wrong with the long hours na magtrabaho yung mga empleyado, paid naman ang mga yun. I believe you have the option din naman not to go overtime...nadadaan yan sa usapan hehehe One thing is sure though, di ako umalis sa Smart because of stress or anything...may greener pasture lang na dumating ika nga. So for those out there na interested mag work sa Smart I would say "go" and "goodluck"!

From what I heard...their hospitalization is the same with PLDT. Siyempre may libreng load as per as their engineers are concerned. Above (daw) sa industry ang pay nila as per as their engineers are concernec (again). Engineer kasi ang kilala ko. Tingin ko nga, ang lamang nila ay yung mga bonus lang nila.
