I met one of the reps - Ms. Tina from Central Books at Libros Book fair in Ayala triangle last Saturday. She was really helpful and answered my queries regarding publishing a book.

I suggest that you go directly to their main office in QC.

I think they also have outlets in Megamall and other places.

If you want to self publish, you shouldn't need to submit anything to publishers. Self-publishing suggests that you're going to do everything, from the writing to the editing, to the printing, to the marketing and selling. This, of course, is a lotta work. But if you want to go the self-publishing route, and happen to get lucky, the rewards are much greater because you don't give publishing companies a cut of your profits.

There are other, less costly ways to become full-time writer and earn, though.

There are no book agents in the Philippines (by that, I mean book agents that sell to local publishers; just not feasible that way).

If you want a book agent, my advice is to submit to them...
