i was in megamall when the bomb exploded

i was in cinema 4, watching american beauty on the 2:50pm slot. towards the end, i just heard BOOM followed by some shaking of the whole theater. i didn't know yet that the bombing was so near from where i am (in cinema 6). i just went out the cinema at once. i saw the smoke coming from cinema 6 and some sprinklers coming from the ceiling. only when i was out of the megamall building did i realize that i was so scared. nanginginig ang mga tuhod ko that i had to lean on the wall while i did some calls. i waited until i had myself calmed down before i went back to the carpark to get my car.

this is a scary experience that i just want to share with you guys. try to refrain from going the malls first if not necessary. but in any case, i'm ok now. happy na ulit ako

My brother insisted on going to Megamall last Sunday. I said I wanted to go to Galleria because I felt bad vibes about Megamall (and because Robinson's was having a 50% sale, ). Anyway, we went to Galleria and heard about the explosion later c/o text messaging. All I can say is, boy, am I glad I didn't give in to my bro!

sabi ng friend ko malakas nga raw talaga yun explosion. kse yun driver nila nasa parking lot pero narinig niya parin at na feel niya yun pag-nginig ng earth. siya naman nasa dulo ng mega B pero na feel niya rin. una nga kala niya nahulog raw yun elevator yun pala may bomb.

i was there too, 2nd flr. at marks & spencer's. when the bomb exploded, the whole bldg shook. parang subwoofer sobrang lakas ng bayo. K lang after the bomb exploded but what really terrified me was the ppl panicking and literally jumping off the escalator. we attempted to leave the shop pero the ppl were scurrying into the shop so the guard closed the steel rails, naipit nga yung iba. kakaawa. the bomber must really be sick!

My classmate said that he's going to have his movie ticket laminated. He was on his way to cinema 6 at around quarter to five that day, for the 5:10 showing of the movie. Then, boom. Good thing he was still at the escalator, but he did have a ticket already and was headed for cinema 6.

Whew!
