    2nd version: toyo at kalamansi
3rd version: toyo, kalamansi, brown sugar
4th version: toyo, kalamansi, brown sugar, banana ketchup, bawang at paminta.

Just a lil bit of crushed garlic + freshly ground peppercorns + a dash of sea salt is fine. If you're really into more flavors, include a tablespoonful of soy sauce per half kilo and 2-3 tablespoonfuls of sprite or seven-up. You could also add a tablespoon or two of catsup. I don't like banana catsup though so I use tomato catsup.

Once you start grilling, apply just a lil bit of oil (preferrably olive oil or canola oil, but plain veggie oil works fine too). One brushing per side should be enough. Grill the pork for at least 10-15 minutes per side. You could even add a lil bit of garlic and cracked pepper in the oil overnight to enhance the flavor of the oil. Do not cook the pork too much or you will find yourself eating really dry, chewy (makunat) pork.

We tried this during our party and a lot were so impressed with the grilled liempo and spare ribs. After the party, friends would even email us asking for the recipe. It's pretty simple. Mix Mama Sita's Barbecue Marinade (available at groceries) and sweet-chilli sauce (the one used as sauce for lumpia). Either marinate or simply brush the meat with this mixture (I prefer just brushing the meat with the mixture after it's cooked).

rub it with salt lang and let it sit for a few hours. tapos iba-ibang sawsawan na lang. don't overcook para di tumigas.

pag inihaw na liempo, usually asin lang at konting vetsin.
pwede mo ng ihawin. pagkatapos, prepare ka ng sawsawan.
sawsawan ko bagoong with calamansi.. sarap.

then gagawa ako yung sauce napampahid kapag iniihaw... banana catchup(pdeng mahanghang),tapos black ground pepper, mantika(olive oil or canola oil) tapos hahaluhing mabuti hangang lumapot...

habang iniihaw ipahid mo yung sauce

sa sawsawan.... suka, sibuyas, bawang at siling labuyo

try nyo tong recipe ko sarap yan!

    bon appetit

Try adding pineapple juice sa marinade. Its a meat tenderizer.
