handsdown, by a mile and a half, punch-drunk love is his best work ever.

distant runner ups would be the wedding singer, anger management, and little nicky.

I guess I need to give my 2 cents for obvious reasons

Punch Drunk Love is my favorite Adam Sandler movie it was just a delightful love story about an introvert that begins (*trying*) to experience the simple joys in life. But that's your non-typical Adam Sandler movie it's an art house fare directed by PT Anderson.

If we are going by your typical Adam Sandler film I think the only ones that I enjoyed were Happy Gilmore (pretty obvious), The Wedding Singer, Don't Mess with the Zohan, Little Nicky, and The Longest Yard (any movie with Austin, Nash, Goldberg, etc. is fine by me).

    Very Good
    1. Punch Drunk Love - B+

    Enjoyable/Solid

    2. Happy Gilmore - B (Yeah my name says it all plus I probably appreciate this more now that Julie Bowen is such a big star in Modern Family ... I love hindsight. Also funny how Tiger Woods would fulfill the prophecy of Happy Gilmore of creating mainstream exposure to golf)

    3. The Wedding Singer - B (Ok rom-com that is made better with the 80's retro look, it's funny how the X-Men movies (Wolverine and First Class) can't seem to properly get the period piece concept right but a Sandler movie can)

    4. Little Nicky - B- (A lot of that was because of Harvey Keitel and Rodney Dangerfield and the rulers from Hell, plus the special effects were fun, in a low budget way)

    5. Don't Mess With the Zohan - B-

    6. The Longest Yard - B- (WWE and WCW Wrestlers made this a lot of fun even though the comedy was hit or miss)

    Flip Flop

    7. Spanglish - C+/B- - (I like this movie actually but I couldn't buy into the conclusion. If I were a mother ...)

    8. 50 First Dates - B-/C+ (I give credit to the ambition set by this movie, chemistry between Barrymore and Sandler was spotty though)

    9. Billy Madison - C+ (Aged poorly, and even at the time I thought Billy Madison was a poor man's Jim Carey movie. But it was disposable entertainment for the 13 year old that I was)

    10. The Waterboy - C+ (Kathy Bates and Fonzie were the movie)

    Urgh!!!

    11. Mr Deeds - C (I am actually not a fan of the original classic Mr Deeds Goes to Town so I guess I am not too offended by Sandler's version, but it's still pretty bad)

    12. Big Daddy - C (The father character is right, no way should Sandler's character be raising a kid)

    13. Anger Management - C- (waste of Talent ... Jack Nicholson could turn anything into gold, not so here)

    14. Click - F (horrific sentimental garbage - Hasselhoff couldn't save this movie, and Kate Beckinsale is like the 2nd most boring hot actress out there (Megan Fox is ranked as #1) ... until she proves me wrong)

    15. Bullet Proof - F (what?)

Seen but Forgotten so I can't comment
    Mixed Nuts
    Airheads

His recent movies I have avoided. I think many of his films are things that have become easily avoidable. I wished he did more challenging roles like what he did for Punch Drunk Love but I guess he's more comfortable with his element. Though it would have been cool if he accepted the role for Collateral, you know that movie with Tom Cruise with Jamie Foxx as the cab driver. Adam Sandler was originally supposed to take the cab driver role but the deal never pushed through. It might have given Adam Sandler more opportunities.
