There is nothing in the medical literature that leads to this frame of thought.

But I guess there is nothing wrong if you try it. A word of caution though, there are new reports that too much coconut oil (taken by mouth) can be harmful to the kidneys. Take it in moderation.

It shouldnt bar you from immigrating to the US.

The UCIS website (http://uscis.gov) confirms that hepatitis B is not a communicable disease of “public health significance” for immigration purposes. The list only includes nine infectious diseases: severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), tuberculosis, leprosy, HIV, syphilis, chancroid, gonorrhea, granuloma inguinale and lymphogranuloma.

    mahirap ang ganitong sakit

ang hirap talaga kasi wala pa akong pera. inaasahan ko lang sa sunod knog job pero i was barred dahil may nakitang hepa b nga. ito yung nakita : HBsAG.
anu po ba ang mga gamot, and kung merun po, how much? anu anu po ba ang gagawin para di sya matrace?
Thanks a lot and God bl;ess....salamat po sa pagsagot...

  12. #372
First thing, huwag mo dapat itago na may hepatitis B ka.
It will make things worse kung nahuli ka.

  14. #374

    my pagasa ba?

doc, my chance po ba na maging not detected kapag ang result ng hbv mo ay less than 6 IU/ml? 3 times na po ganun result ng husband ko.. ibig po ba sbihin madaming years pa sya magtatake ng mga gamot. coz baka magmultiply uli?. baraclude at godex po gamot nya..

hindi pala kasama Hepa B? wow, what a relief, exposed na exposed na din kasi ko sa blood at fluids sa work ko, iniisip ko nga di ako maaprove for immigrant kung sakali nahawa nako, ifafile pa naman nako ng employer ko this year. kala ko uuwi nako ng Pinas. Thanks internist for the info.

  16. #376
I mean you can't afford to buy medicine for your recovery? at anu difference between chronic vs acute hepa B?

to pbbaddict23, currently interferon ang pinaka effective sa mga gamot against chronic hep B. Next in line ang entecavir, hepsera, etc...
Interferon can result in seroconversion (mawawala ang HBsAg positivity mo), HBV DNA undetectability and normalization of AST/ALT levels in upto 30% of patients. Usually 6 months to 1 year after seroconversion, HBV DNA undetectability and pag normal na AST/ALT mo. Pero may mga few patients na bumabalik pa rin ang hepatitis despite the 6 months to 1 year.

to grilled furious, may mga support groups for hepatitis B patients. Post ko lahat dito once I get the contact details.

Para sa inyong lahat, the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology will be having a lay forum on common GI and Liver diseases this Sunday sa 5th floor Megatrade Center Megamall.

I will be doing the lecture on Acid Reflux. Kung may time kayo, pasyal na lang kayo sa MegaMall this Sunday. Free admission, wala naman bayad. Whole day po siya.
