If you're a fresh grad, okay mag-work sa BPI (salary-wise!!!) if you're in the OTP. Above average ang pay, quarterly bonus and may per diem and free housing ka pa if you are from the province (100 km away from the BPI Head Office at Paseo). The per diem is almost 1/3 of the net monthly pay kaya masaya buhay ng mga provincial trainees. And by the way, mas priority ng BPI Banking Group ang mga fresh grads from provincial schools (Ateneo de Davao, UP Cebu, Xavier, Siliman, La Salle-Bacolod). If you graduated from a Metro Manila school, suerte ka if lalaki ka.
This is the reality. I'm part of one of the ongoing OTP batches and masasabi kong very pampered ang mga taga-provinces. Imagine, ako nag-walk-in, sila, tinawagan mismo ng HR!!! Add to that the fact that the cash I'm getting monthly is 1/3 lower than what they get (due to that per diem thingy)!
Yun pa nga ang masakit, may 3-year bond ka! And if you quit during the course of the program, you have to give back your unearned salary (kasi nga every 10th and 25th ang pay sa BPI) plus the cost of the training (200K/6 X no. of months in the OTP + 30,000!!!!). Kung medyo mababa ang scores mo sa previous modules, then ibagsak mo ang next module, la kang babayaran, you only have to give back your unearned salary/bonus (pro-rated din kasi yung bonus).
You'll get to develop camaraderie with your batchmates. Kaya nga during announcement of exam results, parang SCQ/StarStruck ang feeling. Nakakaiyak talaga if may natatanggal sa program especially kung ka-close mo yung natanggal.
AS of now, half-way na yung batch namin sa training. I don't know if I have to be thankful that I made it through the first 4 modules. Di pa talaga kasi ako decided with my career path. Anyway, mabilis ang oras, ano ba naman yung 3 years!
Nope. And Im not quite sure if the IT department has this program at all. Kung meron man, maraming nde nakakaalam nito sa amin.Originally posted by baby gracey

What i gained from working in BPI for two years: discipline, good training, gained so much weight since i barely had time for other things but work, nice set of long-term benefits, conservative culture, nice camaraderie, mataas ang tingin ng mga tao sakin kasi taga bangko ako and it's the biggest bank in the country.
But u have nothing to lose if you try working in BPI--ibang usapan na nga lang yun if u decide to stay there for long.
Be starting this coming Monday... Excited and at the same time nervous!
any job offering for polscie grad?![]()
I am a Psychology graduate and still they accepted me in the OTP Program so I don't see any reason why they would not accept a Polscie grad, just pass your papers to the HR Office and undergo the screening process... Goodluck!Originally Posted by denise2005

Batch 72 ka ba PsychoBoy? Batch 68 ako. Di na namin kayo inabutan sa 14th floor coz tapos na kami a week before your batch started. Sa Sta. Ana dorm ka ba nakatira? Nakakamiss yung dorm though sampid lang kami dun...squatter kumbaga (coz di ako qualified like my 3 other dormmates). Hehehe! The dorm was actually one of the highlights of the training...too much drama there esp sa batch namin!
But since the entire vault was turned over to me...sagot ko na yun! I wonder how many more times I will have to do that in the next 3 years or so... Only God knows... Mas magiging mainggat na lang ***** ako.
how much salary ng OTP
oh no, im so confused! i don't know what to do...last friday i had an interview sa BPI Buendia Center (along with so many others, BPI Job Fair kasi) and i applied for their Officership Training Program (OTP). The interviewee told me that they will call me this week kasi wala pa daw yata yung in-charge sa OTP application (something like that)...i really want to get into the program pero pero i'm hearing negative feedbacks about the it (matagal na promotion once you finished the training etc.)...and medyo kinakabahan din ako dun sa 3 years na bond nila. plus the fact that i'm not really that good in math (factor din yung magaling ka sa math during the training, am i right?)
oh well, nakakatawa lang because as if naman sure na matatanggap na ako sa program eh halos wala pa ngang nagyayari...pero wala lang, what if the good heaven smiled at me and i got accepted for the OTP...hay...naguguluhan talaga ako on what should i do.

I qualified for OTP at *** batch after July 16 *** papasukan ko kase tatapusin ko pa thesis ko sa masteral eheheh... Wala pa akong pinermahang contract dahel sabi sa aken ni miss maryvi cuatico ang contract will come after u successfuly made it sa program eheheh
You also need at least two years of professional experience to qualify to BODP aside from an MBA or MS degree. Dun sa batch 70, may 2 OTP trainees who are MBAs but didn't make it to BODP since they lack work experience.
the contract will be signed during the orientation. the 3-year bond will start after successfully completing the program. kasi if the contract will start pa after the training, e di sana hindi malakas loob nila na maniningil ng 30,000 + (200,000 / # of months in the OTP) payment if ever you decided to quit during the duration of the program.
How about IT? meron ba dito taga IT dept.? i passed the exam for IT specialist and i was scheduled for interview.. usually ilang set ba *** interview? nakakatorete ba? penge naman some details dyan.. t.y.
Hey there, yes I am from batch 72... One of the 2 external hiree. Oo nga I heard from a good friend from the 5th floor that there was an OTP graduation a week prior to our start. I am from the south but I choose not to live sa dorm, rather I live with my relatives.Originally Posted by El_Ilustrado
We will be deployed this week in different branches for our OJT phase, I will be based in BPI-Corinthian. Heard it is a good exposure but lotsa work I am sure...
Goodluck! PM me, I might learn a thing or two from you...
It is very competitive...Originally Posted by camerlengo
What makes it more attractive are the quarterly bonuses, medicine & clothing allowances... Add around 1/3 more of your basic monthly salary (BMS) if you are from the province as your per diem/living allowance.
