She is very much alive, but I would be very sad if she died coz I think she's one of the mose beautiful women in the world. By the way, it's so sad that JOHN RITTER already died, though.

3 pages and no mention of Baseketball? It's a comedic satire of the current state of sports today which is basically one huge commercial cesspool, brought to you by the same guys that did Airplane! and South Park. Some memorable quotes:

    • Caine: Let me ask you something - how much money did Shaq make playing for Orlando?
Remer: As much as he earned playing in College?
Caine: What? No! Less than what he earned playing in LA!
    • Caine: When I see one of Baseketballs most prolific players, with less than $20 in his pocket, driving an American car, living in a crappy apartment with two other players, do you know what I think of? [obviously implying that they're underpaid]
      Remer: Homos?
    • Reemer: We win, and they get the chicks. That sucks, dude.
Coop: I'm telling you, it's jobs. We gotta get jobs. Then we get the khakis. Then we get the chicks.
    • "The New Orleans Jazz moved to Utah, where they don't allow music. The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oakland Raiders moved to Los Angeles, and then back to Oakland. No one in Los Angeles seemed to notice."

I remember this part quite vividly with the US MAP shown on the screen. I think I saw it as WOWOW.

Just wanna recommend: A Season on the Brink. kakapanood ko lang kanina, ang ganda! It's a story about the legendary Hoosiers coach, Bobby Knight. Go check it out!

hoosiers has got to be one of the best. medyo cliche, pero very inspiring.

i like the part in the locker room, when the team was about to pray before their big game. one of the guys said, "i want to win for all the small schools who never got the chance to get here."

    wow, 'stig.

    my top 10 sports movie.

7.) the replacement (i really die laughing in this film)
6.) any given sunday (galing ni al pacino dito)
5.) victory (the best soccer movie i ever seen. sly stallone, sir michael caine, max von sydow and pele are the main characters of this film set during the time of WWII)
4.) cool runnings (i like the catchy tune of "we are the jamaican bobsled team")
    3.) hoosiers
2.) coach carter (somewhat the best basketball movie i ever seen)
1.) cutting edge 1 (i really like this film a lot. ganda kasi ng storyline)

    some worth watching...

    ali
rookie of the year (remember this film?)
    little big league
    the waterboy
    shaolin soccer
    the air up there
    6th man (ala-"ghost", basketball version)
    varsity blues
for the love of the game
    the rookie
    remember the titans
