gusto ko ring matuto ng silkscreening. saan ba nakakabili ng materials(e.g. iyong parang green acetate, chemicals(?)? Iyong mura. at ano ba magandang ink.

(Napanood ko lang iyong process ng pagsilkscreen sa NEgosiyete (palabas ni kuya germs nung bata ako. NAkalimutan ko na.)

dati i tried to check out prices of airbrush tools....yung airbrush sprayer nasa 8K+ tapos yung air compressor (maliit lang) nasa 6k... di ko pa na check yung paint...mahal pala...dapat gawing business para makabawi

same as kitings, during my senior year in HS. Project namin sa THE ang pag silk screen so lahat nag materials(silk screen, green acetate, squigee, fabric paint-usually acrelic kinukuha ko para multi-purpose) sa national bookstore ko binili.

also ang pagtranfer ng green acetate we use acetone or thinner. dahan-dahang i-dapp ng cotton kc kung super dami ang lagay. lusaw ang green acetate.

Victoria: hello, anu po yung lalagyan ng thinner/acetone? kase di ba yung green film yun na yung stencil design? tama ba? bale yung cut out ba yung ididikit ng thinner o acetone sa silkscreen> interested din ako dito eh

carabonita: tama, its d green film. so me 2 sides *** green film, glossy and not too glossy. u put/tape d desgn (picture or words) sa glossy side, tapos on d other side use d cutter to carefully trace the design/words and lift the green film (note: wag itodo ang cutter na mabutas ang acetate-clear kc lalabas after u lift the green film), after u done doing so, me outline ka na ng design mo.

eg: the design is "sexy", font comic san font, size 100.
put the desgn sa film. after cuting the word u wil have the word sexy na transparent/clear.. with that, lalagay mo na sa silk screen *** film.. so tape mo *** design, glossy side facing u, tapos sa other side use d cotton to dabb d thinner para dumikit sa silkscreen *** green film.. wait a few seconds tapos dahan-dahang ilift mo *** acetate leaving d green film sa silkscreen..
yan ready ka na mag print sa t-shirts..

Hi ask ko lang. I got shirts sa Juan Luna Divisoria, mura nga Whistler, I wanna try SoFTEX next time. Pero what I want to know sana , saan mura magpa PRINT ng shirts? I mean silkscreen? May nsubukan nako sa may amin sa cavite, mga SIGNs shops, balak ko kasi makamura RUBBERIZED PAINT sana. 30pesos sa cavite simple design-one color- each shirt na 1 dozen, aangat ng 60pesos or higher if 3 colors; hindi pa Rubberized yun.

I heard sa RECTO daw marami? Anyone who can help me and give me contact numbers nung mga shops? Really appreciate it. Thanks.

I want to try using a stencil. What kind of paint would be best for this kaya? Nakakainis kasi ang dami ko naiisip out of the blue na magandang statements for shirts pero hindi naman ako marunong gumawa.

give it to me then i'll give it to you for free if i like your design.
stencil method is sooo depressingly mabusisi but practical. What i use is the photographic transfer method. for mass production it's much convenient and efficient. I don't do mass production... but i use phototransfer method...hehehe kasi takot ako sa blade. the kind of paint to use depends on what kind of shirt and what kind of effect you need to achieve...depende din sa design.

me too, i'm interested with this, i'm planning to give shirts for my pex friends as xmas gifts, the thing is nakalagay dapat is hey, wanna be my coffeemate, dapat ba may particular tela ako na gagamitin? i'm looking at yun plain shirts sa bench sana eh, pwede ba yun?

i inquired sa maldita, they're using permwash pen lang.
