    MarkPaul, Sa pagkakaalam ko, TARA TENA, are not english words, actually, both are tagalog words....TARA means tara na or halika na and then TENA, parang ganun din eh.... Pero baka mali rin ako...un lang kse pagkakaintindi ko sa meaning nung song...

    Cougar, yan nga *** same song or title nung kinanta nila Kyla dun sa HIMIG HANDOG contest nun, dba nga yan *** nanalo...:

    Nakikita ko na nga rin to sa commercial pero sabi, coming soon pa lang....

    Ang hirap kasi minsan sa mga songwriting competitions na yan, once mapili ang entry mo, you already surrendered the rights to the song to the institution na nag-sponsor ng contest. So they can pretty much do anything they want with it.

    Sana lang yung CONTENT ng program, true to the spirit of the song. PRO-ACTIVE kasi ang Tara Na Tena...encouraging the youth to use their gifts and talents to help the country and the world.

    Kaya Tara Na -> let's go and TENA --> slang ng LET'S GO. Persuasive talaga.

    Huwag sana nilang gawing mala-MELROSE PLACE, TABING-ILOG, focused on lovestories and hardships rather than the triumphs and willingess of a young person to use one's talents to serve others and help the country.

    That song won grand prize sa Himig Handog, with Kyla, V3 and Kaya, as interpreters. They also won, if I'm not mistaken best RNB VOCAL INTERPRETATION sa Katha Awards.
