the San Beda College of Law has been in crisis and self-destruct mode for quite some time now. the already tense situation was further aggravated when the issue regarding those flunkers who were retained through the pressure of the Benedictine monk president came out in the open. it brought condemnation from members of the faculty and even retired Supreme Court Justice Isagani Cruz, who got engaged in a "shootout" with San Beda Law officials on the Philippine Daily Inquirer. just recently, the Benedictine monk and his spineless Law School Dean sacked 26 law professors, some of whom have formed the "pillars" of the institution that is the San Beda College of Law.

aside from the issue aforementioned, there was the existence of the "system" which has run within the San Beda College of Law. that same system was patronized by most of the College of Law faculty members (including those who have just resigned from their posts), condoned by the Benedictine monk president, his spineless College of Law dean and the school's administration, and practiced by a bunch of demigods in campus composed of some school employees and bratty Law students.


San Beda Law's crisis will not end because it has just started. it's self-destructive ways began to catch up with it and sooner or later, the institution that was San Beda Law would crumble unless GENUINE REFORMS THROUGH A MASSIVE OVERHAUL OF THE ENTIRE INSTITUTION WILL BE DONE.

How are the new professors? Will the change in faculty dramatically impact San Beda's bar performance and training?

^dude, how i wish i can answer your question re: the impact on the quality of san beda.

the new profs... are bedan graduates, some of them are good, some of them arent. one thing is for sure though... the OLD "system" of education in san beda is partially GONE.

bakit kaya nag resign si Erwin? araw araw akong bumabalik nung bakasyon cos di ko malaman laman yung grade ko at kung kailan ako makakaenrol, pag di nga siya nakapasok, wala nang enrolment sa araw nun.

buti nagrerelease agad sila ng grades ngayon, kalhati may midterm grades, yung iba wala. Nandyan pa rin yung "darts system" *sigh*

mabilis yung enrolment ko ngayon for 2nd sem nung 25th compared last year.

^ yep..i agree. most of my classmates sa CAS who tried Law school are almost gone, iilan na lang ang natitira.

4:30pm is usually the earliest class during weekdays till 9:30pm, unless the prof wants a make-up class on an earlier schedule sometimes on a Saturday.

the earliest class on Saturday is 12:30pm, the latest is till 8:30pm.

Mga 2nd week of June mo pa usually malalaman grades mo kung retained ka or not
