Ok rin ba sa mahogany market? Saan ba banda yun?

GOOD DEPENDING ON TIME OF TRAVEL

Yes SLEX is good enough via Sta. Rosa Exit. KASO minsan sobrang traffic from SUCAT to San Pedro exit. Medyo scenic and daan sa Sta. Rosa - Silang - Tagaytay at maraming furniture shops at pinya at pit stops.

    FASTEST

Based sa road and traffic condition ng SLEX ang da best na papunta sa TAGAYTAY ay via Alabang.. from ALABANG or FILINVEST exit derecho kayo ng way sa likod ng Alabang Town Center (ATC) via Festival Mall. Tumbok nyo ang the famous "DAANG HARI" (ni Sen. Villar)
Derecho lang hanggang maabot nyo ang SM Molino straight lang ng extension ng Daang Hari then you will reach Aguinaldo Hway turn left to Tagaytay..

Marami pang iba... via Carmona/Southwoods exit/ via Bacoor (Aguinaldo hway). depende kung saan ka manggaling.

Finally, we been to tagaytay na rin. It was all worth it.

Pink sisters - first stop namin. Ganda ng lugar and very solemn. Ang daming pumupunta pala dito even ordinary days.

Having tried all sorts of bulalo in different restos and places, Leslie's for us is just ok lang. So we did not bother to order. We tried their sizzling seafood and their Nilagang Baka, its the best!

then Check-in sa Mijo.

Ok na sa amin since most of the time nasa labas naman kami.

Pumangit na as times goes by. Bakit ganoon? hindi sulit ang bayad namin since we paid for Car=35.00, entrance fee/pax = 50.00 tapos ang makikita mo lang ang dumi, putik at wala na ang mga dating bahay or rooms nila for stay in guests. So we stayed lang doon for about 20mins. Then head off to Sonya's.

At first, pagkapark namin parang hindi maganda.

About the massage at Sonya's, It was Emily and Amor who assisted us. Couple's room ang kinuha namin and we avail their Sonya's massage. Ang sarap sobra! Ang galeng. Tapos, yung ambiance pa ng Spa nila very cozy. Siempre, nahirapan naman ang mga masahista mo, kaya maghanda ka nga lang ng extra money for the tip. Kasama na yung sobre for the tip pagkahatid sa iyo ng Tea. After ng massage nila they served us Dalandan tea. To die for ang Dalandan tea nila. Ang saarraaaappp! Even my hubby loved it. Pramis!

Meryenda naman sa Mushroom Burger. And i should say na masarap nga ang patties nila. Sarap!

Come evening naman, we dine at Carlo's Pizza.

Mejo dissapointed ako for the price of 135.00/box

i went to Tagaytay last September 6 and was able to stay in Mijo hotel. sobrang lapit lang sa mga kainan. nag-lunch kami sa Leslie's and we ordered their special bulalo (masarap!) and sizzling seafood (sarap din!). kahit 2 viands lang ang inorder namin, sobrang busog na kami. puno ang Leslie's that time kasi that was Saturday.

The last time I went to tagaytay was a couple of years back, in college, during an occular for our talkshow's venue. Never have I seen tagaytay since then, add the fact that I'm from the North.
This tagaytay trip has been long overdue. I got this itinerary for an overnight trip, maybe you could help me smoothen it out. I'm definitely not going alone and there's a big chance that we'd be taking a car along, but just to make sure, could you also advise me on how the commute goes. Tell me if this is impossible...

    Day 1(papunta)
breakfast @ bag of beans (okay daw breakfast dito)
paradizoo (wala lang, mukhang maganda lang dun)
    (LUNCH! any suggestions?)
dinner @ manos (heard lot of good reviews dito)

    Day 2(pauwi)
ilog maria (bibili ng honey and propolis shampoo)
burger mushroom (kailangang ma-try ko to)
good shepherd (sama ko pa ba to sa list ko?)
pink sisters (will just check out what's there)
(lunch suggestions before we go bact to manila)

*other suggestions kung saan masarap mag-lunch or dinner. i don't plan to spend a lot on food, abot-kayang masarap ay okay na, pero kung uber sarap namang medyo may kamahalan, pwede narin siguro, basta you tried it na and could attest na worth it nga dun.

We'll be coming all the way from Bulacan, and I'm pretty sure bf or my friend who'll be tagging along, won't know how to get there. What's the most ligaw-free way to reach tagaytay?

Also could anyone please help me arrange my list in a way that first thing goes first, para di na kame magpabalik balik pa. We're planning to stay in a place near the rotonda, para malapit sa lahat... I'd be needing accomodation suggestions too. Any other suggestions to make our trip a blast would be uber appreciated... Coffee treat for the best suggestions!

you may want to try going to sonya's garden first. i believe that is quite far from the other areas. all the other things you can try if you pass them along Calamba road.

for lunch, Leslie's and Josephine are the notable restos.

for cheap but quality accomodations, you can try Keni Po (though this is a bit far from the rotonda). they only charge 1200 for overnight stay. it's located on the way to Picnic Grove (also another place you can visit). and you can also go to People's park in the sky for a nice view of Tagaytay.

If commute lang there I think merong mga jeep or fx na buma-byahe from EK kanto Sta. Rosa or dun sa Coca-cola plant..

correct me if im wrong, from Rotonda 7-11 ba mas malapit ang Tagaytay Econo Inn kesa sa Mijo/RSM/Leslie's? kasi nung nagpunta kami dati, yun lang nakabisado kong landmarks.

and also if someone can shed light on another matter - lagpas pa ba ng RSM/Leslie's/Starbucks ang Bag of Beans? kasi dati di kami nakapunta dun pero itong next time, gusto ko na talaga.

sorry ha kung parang rehashed questions lang tong mga tinatanong ko pero i've already read 57 pages pero malabo pa rin sakin ang lahat ang kabisado ko lang is yung Rotonda 7-11, yung Jollibee dun at yung Chowking and then of course yung hilera ng Leslie's/RSM/Starbucks at Mijo.
