synopsis (taken from an article by Julie Fe Navarro):

JOLINA Magdangal plays the central character in a new soap opera slated to start airing on GMA-7 this coming Monday. A week ago, the network invited friends from the press to view the pilot episode of Narito ang Puso Ko at the Mycinema Theater at the Posh Greenbelt 3. Watching the story unfold on the big screen was like watching a real movie and not a mere television episode.

The unfolding of the story was fast paced and the visuals were a
feast for the eyes. Everyone gave the thumbs-up sign to Eric Quizon who is directing the drama anthology together with Gina Alajar.

"I’ve done some directorial jobs on TV in the past, but they were
single episodes, not a series like this one. Iba ito, madugo,"
Eric laughs softly.

He admits directing can be time-consuming but thanks his partner
Gina Alajar who is on the same wave length as he is and is as much a fast worker and an exacting director.

Narito Ang Puso Ko is a story reminiscent of the Russian classic,
Anastasia. Jolina plays Antonina, the missing heiress of the
powerful San Victores clan, owner of a chain of first-rate hotels
and airlines. At the age of three, she loses her parents (played by Ariel Rivera and Phoemela Barranda) and grows up under the care of Elsa, effectively given life on screen by the superb acting of Amy Austria.

Veteran actors Rosa Rosal, Lilia Dizon and Eddie Garcia are part
of the stellar billing; so are Dina Bonnevie, Raymond Bagatsing,
Carmina Villarroel, Benjie Paras, Karen de los Reyes and Monsour
del Rosario. Somewhere in the story, Raymart Santiago and James Blanco will fight for the heart of Jolina so at this point it’s
anybody’s guess who she will end with.

I have stopped being a soap watcher since 1999. But because Jolina's back in the soap genre..I guess I'm a soap watcher again come June 9.

I am initially excited about the soap because I'm a Jolina fan, but with all the support and efforts GMA is giving for the soap, and the comments and good feedback from the writers and the casts themselves, I hope to watch the soap not just because of Jolina but because of the story.

I don't wanna expect much from the soap..from the article it may sound a cliche but come to think of it, they used the soap cliche as just the beginning or sort of a preamble. they cannot possible play around that cliche plot the whole run of the soap, can they?

I dunno, but Narito Ang Puso Ko exudes a certain thrill for me.

Magaling at powerhouse cast nga ang soap na ito pero sayang kasi wala akong nakikitang chemistry kina James Blanco and Jolina or kahit na k Jolina and Raymart. basta wala lang kilig factor. Parang mas bagay kasi k Jolina ang comedy.

Watch them first, before judging them. Anyway jolina can do anything!

ay ako kay Raymart and Jolina parang wala...bad trip pa yang si Raymart when Jolina guested in Kool Ka Lang last week..kaya naman hindi ako natutuwa sa kanya.

at siyempre..naman! kay James ako! my gosh i missed Frankie and Victor sa KK! and finally, makikita ko na uli sila together!
wala nang iba....SANTI for ISABELA! o di ba..wala pa nga eh..hehe

I think the story is very promising. Medyo fast-paced, which is nice so sana hindi magbago yun.

I like the characterization...well-developed. Lumabas na agad kung anong personality ni Isabela, si Violeta, si Raymond Bagatsing (sorry forgot his name), and si Rosa Rosal (kalimutan ko ulit sorry) sobrang kaintriga yung characters nila lalo na yung kay Ms. D si Violeta.

Excited na me makita yung characters nila Carmina (Avagrande ata name niya) and Monsour.

What was nice was I think their putting a little humor in it too. I remember KMK, the witty remarks they have there..yung mga kabaliwang hirit ni Gloria Diaz dahil nga baliw siya..

there was the scene with Jolina and Raymart..yung kumaway si Isabela kay Raymart..eh hindi naman siya yung kinakawayan.

and then the scene with Lilia Dizon and Ms. Rosa Rosal..the one where Lilia was eating nuts ata..and then nairita si Rosa Rosal sa sinabi niya...sabi niya ubusin mo na yan at matutulog na tayo..sabi ni Lilia Ay, tulog na ba tayo? that line showed so much of her character...my dad and I were laughing talaga.

Basta ang ganda ng version ng song ni Jolina. Galing ng pagkakanta niya...

Hmmm...about the story, sana lagyan pa nila ng umph. Medyo gasgas na kasi *** lost daughter finding her parents...

Bawiin na lang nila sa lovestory. More kilig...not too violent etc

i have to agree na gasgas na yung finding the identity storyline...soap cliche nga siya..lalo na yung mana-mana na yan. BUT i think that's basically what every story is naman..finding one's identity..i learned that in one of my majors and come to think of it, oo nga. i mean, kahit iba-iba yung type of story or plot..it always ends up to the lead character finding who she/he truly is.

the 2nd BUT would be..i think it's nice that what they're doing is playing around that cliche sa start pa lang ng soap...i mean, they can't play with that plot for the rest of the soap's run right? sana nga there's a really good turn of events in the 2nd season or so. Jun Lana is the creative director/consultant..and Richard Cruz is the writer..i think i trust them enough naman.

the "umph"...you remind me of one of my friends.

oh ya! the song! the song! I LOVE her version of NArito...lagi nga ako napapakanta..hehe

i have yet to see the other characters..leche kasi di me makapanood pag TTH! waaa!

I am not a big fan of Jolina but I think she is pretty nice with all the charity work she does.

I will watch her soap opera becasue I think she is a good person and I think the story is nice.

Me too! For some reason, kinikilig ako sa mga scenes nina Jolina and Raymart...like that scene na may mga nanggulong mga lalaki kay Jolina, to the rescue si Raymart but instead of thanking him, nagalit pa si Jolina. Naaliw ako doon!

one of the reasons why i am in continuous admiration for Jolina...is her charity work. sabi niya in her speech for MAKE-A-WISH...70% of her time is devoted to showbiz, 20% on charity work, and 10% to her family...I love this girl!

ay bakit ako hindi pa kinikilig... hehe kasi in-love pa ako kina Frankie and Victor..that's why. atsaka medyo inis pa rin ako kay Raymart because of Kool Ka Lang..tsk, tsk.

I think medyo baka sa huli, kay James pa rin si Jolina. napansin nyo ba sa MTV? sa start, si Raymart and Jolina and then si james nasa malayo. Then sa end, SI James and Jolina na and si raymart ang nasa malayo.

Anyway, Magaling talaga magpakilig si Jolina. Kinikilig ako sa scnese niya with both Raymart and James.

I really want to see epsiodes of her and karen. Tingin ko, magsasabunutan sila! Palaban pa naman si Jolens!!!
