Kung makakalusot ka sa ENGNews sa DLSU bilib na ako sa inyo! Mataas talaga ang standards ng prof, and he shows why local TV newscasts and reporters have a long way to go. He knows what he's talking about, atsaka he makes a lot of sense.![]()

Lasallians win first prize in UP Film Fest
(DLSU Newsletter-September 15, 2003)
A group of Lasallian student filmmakers won the first prize in the 5th University of the Philippines’ Film and Video Festival held on September 4 at the UP-Diliman Balay Kalinaw Conference Hall.
The group is composed of College of Liberal Arts students Ramon del Prado, Katerina Rillo, and Marco Danga.
Their entry, entitled “Egg”, is a 25-minute animated feature film done using Macromedia Flash. The film was the group’s thesis presented to the Department of Communication during the third term of school year 2002–2003, which earned the department’s outstanding thesis award. The group’s adviser is Vince Groyon III.
The U.P. Film and Video Festival is a competition of student works in both 16mm film and VHS video. It aims to promote the production of independent short film and video among students, and to inspire students to produce creative works in these formats.
The 5th U.P. Film and Video Festival was organized by the U.P. Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts, in cooperation with the U.P. Cineaste’s Studio, and co-sponsored by Kodak Philippines, Ltd.

i agree on this one. i think(!) din na the only difference of UP is that dun talagang matututo kang tumayo sa sarili mong paa.Originally posted by meyrs17
comm arts of dlsu and ateneo are great if u you are dependent with the school's reputation, but if u wanna learn on your own and be challenged go to UP...
the three are equal anyway... it's just a matter of how u do it in coolege....

i see! can't be in front of the camera?
want to be the next Mike Enriquez? go to La Sale!
want to be the next boy abunda? go to ateneo!
Mike enriquez sucks! I wonder why he is in broadcasting.
Why do we have to spare the respective "famous" alumni of the school.
To speak of my University, UST is a good undergraduate school for Communication Arts and Journalism. Students are trained under the best of the best personalities there are. UST also have different Centers like CCWS to further enhance its' excellence in both fields.
hindi naman kasi siguro on-air. but how did you know?Originally posted by Cyberspace_law
