I say that because this country is dominated by catholic people. There is not one CCM Christian radio station in a country of 83 million people.
The only OPM Christian artist (REAL ARTIST) is Vienna.
Is there any OPM Christian artists besides vienna?

i think there used to be a radion station before that used to play praise and worship. Don't know what happened to that station. Sayang noh, CCM is not the stereotyped boring music, maganda na yung melody, positive pa yung lyrics

I occasionally listen to Yahoo! LaunchCast's CCM radio station dito sa office, minsan mapagiisip ka pa na "christian music ba ito?" hehehe

My Favorites are Jars of Clay, Sixpence None the Richer (before they disbanded, Anointed (before they became a duet), Nicole Mullen, Delirious, Audio Adrenaline, Newsboys, dcTalk, Steven Curtis Chapman, Derek Webb and lots of others.

For Hillsongs enthusiasts, I think their choir director is coming over to do a series of praise and worship seminars this January.

Also on the grapevine, Jars of Clay and Jaci Velasquez may be coming to the Philippines after all. In February.

Hello! Yeah I've heard of newsboys, third day, delirious?, petra, pod, jars of clay. =) I have the album "wmodern orship songs for the new generation: I could sing of your love forever 2". It's a double cd album containing 25 tracks by various Christian artists =)

Other bands/artists: Sonicflood, Matt Redman, Switchfoot, Chris Tomlin, Passion, Point of Grace, Hillsong etc.
