Also got an LPV for 30 days last September. Got my visa 5 days before I left. Only took 7 days, I lodged via an agency. Free lang yung NZ visa if 60 days or less, so I only paid for the agency fee which is 2,000PHP.

    My profile at that time:
    - With work but low salary (I convinced my friend who I am working for as a freelancer to sign an employment certificate for me, since I am a freelancer and bulk of my work comes from abroad and they can't provide me an EC. I also don't want to mention in the application that I am a freelancer since it means I can do my work anywhere in the world and might give them the wrong idea.)
    - Equally low bank certificate
    - I have a property in my name
    - Travels in Asia
    - Fiancé with a Work Visa for 3 months (Assigned by office for a NZ Govt. project)

As supporting documents, I included a photocopy of my fiancé's visa and arrival stamp, his invitation documents from their NZ office, an invitation letter from him stating that I will be staying with him during my stay, the name of his rented residence at the time and that he will be taking care of all expenses, his bank certificates and certificate of employment, proof that I am in a stable relationship with my fiancé (photos), acceptance document and title of the property that are both on our names and printed copy of my flight itinerary (not booked yet, just made a mock booking online without paying yet).

The VO (who is a Kiwi) sent me an email instructing me to give him a call. So we talked for a bit and he said they are concerned with my finances but is willing to grant me a Limited Purpose Visa for 1 month, with conditions that I cannot apply for work there and I can't apply for a visa extension. He sent me a document to sign and I sent it back the next day. The following day, my visa was ready to be picked up from the agency who helped me.

I was there for less than a month. Stayed at Christchurch and fell in love with the place. Elder Kiwis are nicer than their younger counterparts, medyo rowdy yung ibang teens pag nakainom or in a group.

I got to ski while I was there. It was a very nice experience.

mukhang ok naman.. kasama mo parents mo and besides 15 days ka lang.. be sure lang na may proof ka from your employer na naka vacation leave ka at nakalagay yun sa COE mo. ang importante kase yung proof mo na wala kang balak mag TNT dun at talagang babalik ka sa Pinas.

for accommodation naman, if you're planning to stay sa house ng kapatid mo dapat may letter sya address to immigration new zealand manila na dun kayo titira, with adress at how long. if he's renting a place like apartment, be sure na isama yung tenancy agreement nya with the landlord plus yung binaggit ko na letter authorizing you and your parents na mag-stay sa bahay. Print name and signature ng brother mo yung letter.

be sure din you have evidence for your roundtrip travel like booking from travel agency... not necessarily na bayad na.. just booking confirmation will do. And don't forget to include your financial capacity.. if one month travel, required is at least 400 NZD if accommodation is paid/sponsored or at least 1,000 NZD pag wala pa accommodation.

Hi there! I just wanted to ask what are my chances of being an immigrant under either SW (Ind). I am currently in the Philippines, and have been working for 9 years- currently work as an web copywriter, and used to be a magazine editor in Manila.

I checked the NZ skilled workers list for my profession (journalist, writer) but don't think nakita ko siya dun. Pero I heard from a friend na it is included daw. Would anyone know if it really is, and if so, am I eligible to be an immigrant?

    Thanks in advance

bakit ka pa kukuha ng consulting agency? you can do it on your own. I have Offer of Place from two schools in NZ. Nag-apply lang ako then nagpasa ng mga credentials.I suggest you plan carefully ano course ang gusto mo and what school. kailangan kase may Offer of Place ka from school when you applying for student visa and syempre you have enough money para gastusan ang schooling mo.

  13. #93
Offer of Place?....i am so freaking confused...and what course?...and it will guarantee me to become an immigrant?...baka million ang gastosin ko dyan?...waaaaaaaaaa...

akala ko ok na basta gusto mong magtrabaho dun at nakakuha ka. di ko alam na kaylangan mo pala ng malaking pera sa bangko para makapunta doon! haaay! trabaho muna ako dito ng 5 years!

lucky you if nakakuha ka ng work dun at may employer na nag-sponsor sayo for work visa.. pero kung gusto mong makapunta dun at makahanap ng work, you should have money talaga! pano ka naman makakapunta dun na walang job offer? you need visa di ba? ang isa sa requirements ng visa application is financial capacity or funds.

Offer of Place ang tawag sa acceptance letter na ibibigay sayo ng school. You have to search kung anong school and what course ang gusto mo. after which, contact them thru email and ask kung ano requirements nila. sabihin mo you're a potential international student, ek,ek.. eventually, they will going to reply you sa mga inquiries mo at kung paano ang application process. if natanggap ka sa school na yan, they will send you Offer of Place sa kurso na gusto mo..

when you apply for student visa, one of the requirements is Offer of Place from school in New Zealand.

Guys, pwede ba na isubmit lang sa tourist visa ay Certificate of employment, ITR, and other docs. I mean ayoko na kasi isubmit yung Leave form since tatakas lang ako sa work ko. Homebased kasi ako so di naman mapapansin ng boss ko if naka leave ako basta online lang ako. Do you think hihingin pa ba ng NZ embassy yung leave form?

    Thanks guys!

if you are employed , you should submit COE stating that you are on leave or attach the leave certificate. Kung homebased ka naman, I suggest you put in your application form na home-based ka but the thing is employed ka so better inform your boss. Tinatanong kase yan ng Visa Officer kase tatawagan ka for interview. ITR is not necessary. From NZ Manila Immig: Submit the evidence that supports your claim you have leave approved, and your work letter – submit both.
