Up for this thread. It seems that the website about migration to NZ is easier to navigate than the OZ's website.

I wouldnt second that. I found OZ's much more comprehensive.
I am not certain if an existing thread exist as the search function has been disabled. Can you share your experiences in applying? Is it easy?![]()
I think you won't have a problem in lodging the application since the center which handles that, VIA, is the same one used by the australian embassy. I used VIA in applying for an australian visa and it was quick. In terms of the visa itself, I'm not sure though since I haven't tried it yet. Just wanted to share my thoughts on the VIA.![]()
My friends and I were entertaining thoughts of taking a short vacation to OZ and NZ, and while asking around for visa info, we were told that if one has a valid OZ visa, one can enter NZ visa-free... Is this right?
May bayad pag more than 30 days na.
how much is the visa fee?
free ang tourist visa application basta less than 60 days yong ina-apply. ang babayaran mo lang yong courier pick up and delivery parang less than 500 pesos lang yon.
I think diba you were given a chance to "defend" yourself when they sent you an e-mail informing you of its initial feedback na denied ka and that you need to provide comments and/or documents as necessary?
My travels were also limited within Asia and di masyado malaki ang funds ko pero binigyan pa rin ako ng regular tourist visa ng consul. I guess it is just how you justify or defend yourself based on whatever the reasons they stated kung bakit possibly "denied" ang magiging result or outcome ng tourist visa application mo.
yes, in fairness sa kanila, bibigyan ka talaga ng chance ma defend para bigyan ka ng visa. objective naman sila. it just so happened na mahirap talagang i defend ang family ties dito sa pinas kasi single ako, not yet married tapos yong nature ng job ko is mostly freelance so anytime, puwede ko talagang hindi na balikan. actually, ayoko na talagang mag apply, kung hindi lang sa invitation ng aunt ko na akala namin e makakatulong hehehe mukhang mas napasama pa hehehe. talagang tour lang ang reason ko sa pagpunta don.
kahit mag apply ako ulit sa kanila, unless something has changed sa status ko, they said the result will be the same. kinonsider din nila na magbigay ako ng bond pero binawi at hindi talaga sila naniniwalang babalik ako pag binigyan ng visa. oh well hehehe.. mananahimik na lang muna ako, after getting married, MAYBE, saka na lang ulit mag try.
sa mga nakakuha, i know maganda sa new zealand. enjoy!
^^may bond pala sila? how much was it?
ako naman single din. unemployed pa. wala masyado malaki funds. pero nabigyan pa rin ng regular tourist visa. i still believe talaga it is the way how you prove yourself.
