read moreyey! finally got my tourist visa today!
unfortunately, cancelled ang airasia flights to new zealand starting june 1 and our flight is on june 14. waaah! sayang, kainis. will go to sri lanka-maldives instead.
btw, starting march 12, may 500 peso additional processing fee na ang VIA center. i paid 700 pesos, inclusive of the delivery fee. i filed my application last march 12 and got my visa today, march 21. i submitted the following:
application form
2 passport pics
COE (which should state approved leaves, orig + photocopy)
ITR (orig + photocopy)
bank certificate (orig + photocopy)
birth certificate (orig + photocopy)
plane tickets (orig + photocopy)
tumawag lang sa akin yesterday afternoon yung embassy to ask for my trip purpose and just said i want to see the franz josef glaciers, hehe. and then today, nakuha ko na ang passport ko with approved visa![]()
^so you have absolutely no plans of using your visa? sayang naman![]()
i really want to, but due to lack of resources, masasayang syasana walang impact sa trip ko to new zealand in the future. and btw, unlike sa australian visa, sticker-type ang nz visa
i only found out na cancelled ang flight namin after mag-email ni airsia last march 12. went there morning, and got the mass email nung hapon na. if i knew, hindi ko na itutuloy dahil sayang ang 700 pesos, effort na pumila sa VIA centre, mag-prepare ng documents (request sa nso, bank certificate, COE -- which took 2 weeks prior to submission). but since nakapagbayad na ako and nasa kanila na ang passport, might as well go for it right?![]()
^^ ah ikaw yung may visa na pero baka hindi magamit dahil nacancel yung flight?..sori di ko gano nabasa nung nagbackread ako, bakit nacancel yung flight?

my fiance and i are wondering how can we prove to the NZ consul/examiner that our partnership is legit
we have photos and joint bank accounts pero we do not live in the same house kasi wala naman sa culture natin yun hanggat hindi pa kasal
hirap nito
Hi guys! anyone who plans to visit new zealand this sept? i'll be lodging an application by 2nd wk of july.. i just want to ask for your opinion.. i just received my sponsorship letter from my relative... mas may chance ba na makakuha ako ng visitor visa pag meron nito or baka LPV lang mabigay sakin since baka isipin nila i don't have my own fund? I'm still thinking if i should submit my application w/ sponsorship or kahit wala na... thank you!!!![]()
UST![]()
Thanks Gerbil! my sponsorship would be for all expenses except RT ticket.
I was just wondering if the IO would doubt my application... may question kasi na are you using ur own fund, at since my sponsorship na ko, no na sasagot ko right? should I still have to submit my bank cert? btw, sister in-law ko ang magssponsor sakin at ako lang mag isa aalis for a month... thank you!![]()
Hi! I'm planning to apply for student visa in new zealand, I heard it is easier to get approved there than iin other countries. Anybody here who lives in auckland? I wanted to know kasi kung madami ba matitirahan dyan na apartment and how much does it cost, just to have an idea.
thanks for any information that you may have.
pwede din sponsorship for accommodation ang i-submit mo, if you'll be staying with relatives. Did your sponsor send you the required copies ng home property nila plus job description/financial proof to support you? Dapat kasama yun sa application mo. PLUS your bank cert, certificate of employment, flight itinerary, etc. Kasama pa rin yung financial docs mo kahit sponsored ka, para at least alam nila hindi ka pabigat sa mag-sponsor sa 'yo.
Magkaiba ang minimum amount na nire-require nila if you're responsible for your own expenses (ticket, accommodation, etc. NZ$1000 per month) versus having sponsored accommodation (staying with relatives; NZ$400 per month). hope this helps.
might be planning to go back to NZ later this year hehe
thanks gerbil! i already lodged my application last Friday.. i'm really praying hard na maapprove,,btw, i initially submitted form INZ 1189 since less than 6mos lang naman ako pero pinachange sakin yung form to INZ 1017 dahil may sponsorship ako... for all expenses pala yng sponsorhip ko and yes may kasama syang ibang docs like passport copy ng sponsor, authentication, copy ng lot property. i also submitted bank cert, itr, coe, leave approval, credit card statement, iti, etc..it will be processed daw w/in 15days and i really can't wait... *** sponsor ko rin pala yung nilagay ko as contact person, tatawagan pa rin ba nila ko? Thank you! this thread really helps!

@baked_kulangot
Good luck sa application mo. They've never called me for an interview pero others here in PEx na-interview over the phone. case to case basis siguro.
