I only attend hiphop classes during Tuesday at RSC, Wednesday at Megamall, Thursday at Ortigas and Saturday at the Fort.

You don't need then to be shy sa mga Group Ex. Marami naman din umaatend dun, so in the long run, you won't be conscious anyway. It's also a nice way to overcome your shyness kung may kasama ka. As you go by, you will gain self-confidence.

Who have been to MOA? Sino na din naka-attend ng RPM class? Naiinis ako dun sa "rules" ng management nila. Papano, kailangan daw linisin ng member yung bike na ginamit after class. Para daw ma-prolong ang life nung mga bikes. As if naman mga bago.

^ para na rin sa mga susunod na gagamit yun kaya kailangan linisin mo. back to back ang classes sa MOA kaya kung sa second class ka aattend, i'm sure ma-a-appreciate mo na nilinis nung unang gumamit yung bike na gagamitin mo.

i agree though na luma na at kailangan palitan yung mga bikes dun.

sa gym where i'm connected now, after every class makikita mo na lahat naglilinis ng bike after gamitin. kahit sa bodypump, pagsauli ng bar sa rack, pinupunasan muna. yun ang never ko nakita sa FF.

The last time I know was around 3k. Don't know how much it increased today. Also, the monthly rate would depend on the type of membership you would avail. They have Home Club, Passport and Platinum. Membership length/contract is also a factor (i.e., 12-month, 4-month). They do also have a "weekend warrior" membership type wherein you can access the gym during weekends only.

MANILA, Philippines - The Court of Appeals Ninth Division on Wednesday said Fitness First Club cannot escape responsibility for stolen items of their members despite a written waiver exempting the club from any liability.

In a 17-page decision penned by Associate Justice Antonio Villamor, the court upheld the decision of the Makati City Regional Trial Court (RTC) branch 58 holding Fitness First Club Inc. liable for stolen items of a member last June 22, 2006.

The court said Fitness First cannot escape liability for the losses by invoking the provisions of its membership agreement as well as notices posted on the walls of their facilities warning members that the club would not be liable in case of loss items.

It said the waiver runs counter to Article 2003 of the Civil Code. It said that, similar to hotels and common carriers, the fitness gym has the responsibility to provide security to its clients and their belongings.

"On an even scale, Fitness First being a health club establishment is clearly bound to provide not only a comfortable working-out atmosphere for its members but also security to their persons and belonging," the CA said.

"The law in turn does not allow its responsibility to the public to be negated or diluted by any contrary stipulation in so-called undertakings that ordinarily appear in prepared forms imposed on their guests and members, as in this case," it added.

The appellate court also affirmed the lower court's grant of the complainants claim for damages in the amount of P136,000.

Lawyers Rommel de los Reyes and Gerlyn Turingan earlier sought damages against Fitness First after de los Reyes lost his office uniform, a Nokia 6600 mobile phone, wallet containing P3,000 and identification cards inside the Fitness First locker.

The two terminated their membership with the club and filed a case for collection of money with damages contending that the club was negligent and did not even exert any effort to investigate the matter.

In its ruling, the CA dismissed the argument of Fitness First national operations consultant Kent Richards that the complainants failed to present evidence that would warrant the lower court's finding of negligence against the club.

The CA noted that Richards admitted that while one key is assigned to the locker user, Fitness First has a master key to unlock all the lockers.

“Thus, the probability that the subject locker was opened by a Fitness First employee cannot be discounted," it explained.

The stolen items of de los Reyes were later found in the locker area of Fitness First on June 24, 2006, two days after the reported incident.

I'll be leaving Fitness First due to the high monthly rates. I've been a member since 2002, I love this gym but unfortunately their rates are too high. I've already transferred to Gold's. they gave me a rate where no one can refuse. 10k for 18 months unlimited to all branches.

hi Cloud_07, do you know if wala na ba si leo sa RSC during tuesdays? i attended last 7/12 and it was someone i haven't seen before, & it was the worst hiphop class ever. i didn't attend after that. also would u know if jonas is still doing hiphop at RSC? i haven't tried errol at the fort. i'm a bit shy to join the class just coz it's always full when i get there. jonas & erwin na lang ang pag-asa ng hiphop sa FF. i miss my hiphop fix since i don't regularly attend.

needed help here. I've always wanted to go to FF and start working out. unfortunately, their rates are to high for my budget. heard from a friend that he knew someone who only pays for 1,300 or 1,500/mo only but it is not a passport account. that's fine with me as long as the branch is in SM Fairview.

Anyone knows ifsuch a rate do exists in FF and how can I avail it? thanks a lot!

according sa former trainer ng FF na nakausap ko, may 3 branches daw mag cclose na. the one is ortigas branch and yung 2 pa di ko na alam.
