A guy set up by my sister took me out for dinner. He made me choose the resto, food, etc. What a gentleman.

my boyfriend left for the province for 1 and a half month... he had no effort whatsoever to maintain communication between us during those times...
when he finally came back i asked him to go out the next day, he said he had no money i told him ill pay... but he didnt want to because of the pride thing... so i pleaded as in i cried because i missed him for sooooo long, then finally he agreed..
so were in the mall already and just finished watching a 3 hour movie...it was only 3pm and i was really hungry i asked him to eat but he said no, he wanted to go home already... he said i should go home too.. i said no and said that if he wants to leave then ill stay and hang-out by myself in the mall... and just like that he left me there alone in the middle of the mall... not to mention it was our 4th monthsary and he didnt even said a word about it...
it was traumatic that i wasnt able to hold back the tears, shocked that he can actually do something like that to me...

This is my cousin's story and I can't help but crack up whenever I remember it (of course whenever I see my cousin, I still tease him about it).

Anyway, this girl called him one day na nakikipagkilala who was my batch in Ateneo, my cousin was like a junior in highschool during that time, na-flatter kasi college girl nga yun nakikipagkilala. So they had a friendship over the phone and stuff. This girl even sent flowers to my cousin's classroom. So naturally, my cousin was curious to meet this girl and kept pressing for a meeting. Kasi she was smart, funny, witty so medyo na-attract yung pinsan ko. Ayaw nung girl makipag-meet so my cousin was going, do you think you're ugly, I don't care, we're friends naman eh and so forth.

So one day after much persuasion, my cousin insisted on meeting this girl and the girl said

"(My cousin's name), the reason I can't meet you is because I'm gay!"

Girl turned out to be a guy pala. Well, I knew the guy hehehehehe and he's definitely gay hahahaha

Sabi ng cousin ko, "I never expected to hear those words. I didn't know whether babagsakan ko or sisigawan ko."

Buti na lang it happened before he was able to ask me if I knew _ _ _ _ _ or else ako pa yung nag-drop ng bombshell sa kanya.

Heto sa kin (it's not really a horror story for me but for a guy it would definitely be one). This is one of those memorable first few dates with my boyfriend of almost 8 years. This happened when we were still in highschool.

I asked my suitor (now my long-time boyfriend) to meet me in Pancake house Katipunan kasi I needed someone to accompany me in Ateneo. I was applying for Ateneo college and I had no idea how to get around. I arrived a little early so I decided to get something to drink. A few minutes later, he came and apologized for arriving a little late. I said it was no trouble at all and proceeded to get the bill for my drink when he said that a trip to Pancake house was not complete without drinking their Chocolate milkshakes and asked if I was in a rush to go to Ateneo. It was still early and I was in no rush so I said it's fine so he ordered one. After he finished his milkshake, he took the bill and insisted on paying my drink as well. And then here's what happened. As he opened his wallet, wala pala siyang dalang pera!!!

At first he didn't want to tell me about it. Obvious ba, nanliligaw tapos something as humiliating as this happened. Of course I noticed him fidgeting and checking and checking his wallet and pockets. Then I asked if something was wrong, and my god, I'll never forget that. He said, "I hate to say this but do you have any money on you?". I really raised my eyebrows and said, "how could you order something without having any money to pay for it?" He swears to this day that he was sure that he had money that day. Anyway, I paid for the bill and said it's my treat for his accompanying me to Ateneo (kasi he insisted that he'll pay me the next time he sees me).

So everytime we go to Pancake house, I still tease him of that incident so long ago.

Just one of the stories we'll tell our future kids.

And for everyone out there, if you have a date and you are footing the bill, make sure to check your wallet beforehand to see if you have money.

i do agree with you that some girls can be so uptight and cant even kid around with their guy friends. i have close guy friends and yes, we would be open to topics like these (if they ever would be interested to know).

but on a 2nd date with a guy you hardly know, i say, thats foul. and yup, you're right - they just want to know if the girl would ride along the conversation and hope that it would lead to some steamy action. king of innuendos!!!
