try all service establishments here in davao from restos to pldt to travel agency, only exception is davao light. Kahit sa SM mabagal!!! mag chismisan pa ang mga cashier! bago matapos ma punch ang lahat ng binili mo, puti na ang mata mo! kahit emplayado mo, mabagal! if you're from manila at sanay ka sa customer service ng manila at napunta ka dito, mamamatay ka sa stress sa sobraaang bagal nga mga tao dito. No sense of time and urgency. Tapos wala pang pride sa trabaho nila! hay naku!

Gerry's Grill in Glorietta! Lahat ng nakapaligid sa amin na-serve na yung order nila, yung amin hindi pa...to think na kami ang nauna dun! bwiset! inaway talaga ng parents ko yung manager nila dun...

Try eating at Chippens and going to Konsturs for travel arrangements you might be surprised.

I LOVE TERIYAKI BOY! feeling ko boyfriend ko na nga sha eh. wahehehe. i love their service. mabilis. masarap and friendly yung mga staff nila lalo na sa gateway. feeling ko kilala na nila ako dun kasi weekly halos kme andun. wahehehe. so far, ayus lahat ng orders namen dun.

shakey's katipunan mga 30-45 minutes bago makuha order namin at malinis yung table tapos another 25 minutes or so bago dumating yung food namin. argh! yung gravy pa na kasama sa chicken ng bunch of lunch di na dumating hinintay ko pa naman ayun tinake out ko na lang.

SM Megamall: Red Ribbon---grabe, ang tagal dumating ng food....and then pagdating ng food eh ang lamig lamig naman...and then pag nag follow up ka, nakasimangot pa yung mga crew nila and they never look at you in the eye...hangin ang kausap...

Chowking in Tutuban....the girl does not get your order right....beef wanton mami eh beef mami ang binibigay at pinunch....geeezzzz and di na raw pwedeng palitan kasi yun na yung napunch niya...

Greenbelt: Gloria Maris----service is soooo slow..... and then pag palabas ka na, wala man lang tao sa pinto to open the door for you and say thank you for coming...add to that, food sucks and uber expensive.

Greenbelt---- Chicken Bacolod Inasal....ang tagal ng service dito...ultimo isang extra rice na hingiin mo eh 10 mins to 15 mins before you get it...

Greenbelt---- Pancake House...isa pa ito sa bagal ng service...I followed up my order 4 times before getting it and the food is sooo cold...and even to get the bill takes a long time...pati pagsukli...haayyyy..ewan ko ba....

My picks for good, bad, ugly service (gotta agree with mom, napapansin niya agad):

Good: Burgoo Promenade, Sugi, Teriyaki Boy (fast-food nga, served quick...yung mga waiters, tatanungin pa sa yo kung may kulang pang order)

Bad/Ugly:
Red Ribbon Greenhills- ilambeses nafollowup, wala pa rin
Pancake House greenhills- ambagal ng order, nagiingay pa ng kubyertos sa kusina, nafollowup na to find out wala palang stock para sa order.
Una Mas Greenhills- sobrang nabad3p kami rito one time: 30 minutes na naming finafollowup yung paellang inorder namin, mas inuna pa yung later pa sumating sa amin. We found out na nascramble pala yung order namin sa queue.
Grilla Libis - same din with Una Mas-ang mga nahuli, nauna pang naserve.

ilan pa lang yan...and all of them na-machine gun sa talak ni ermat.

ganyan talaga lahat ng shakeys, i guess kasi niluluto pa yung mga pagkain, pero nagtataka ako bakit pag nagbayad ka eh ang tagal ng sukli? halos singtagal ng order mo, ano yun hinihintay nilang makalimutan mo yung sukli mo?

Worst must be Taco Bell gateway (the ground floor branch)

Here are my experiences:

1. Mayabang na waitress - she was evil - mapangmata with "normal peeps", walang ganang kumuwa ng order then pag foreigner/mukhang rich todo smile/accomodating..

2. Jologs na waiters na nagpapacute/papansin sa barkada ko..then parang binabackupan siya ni num 1

3. (Months later..) Another waitress who didn't give me tissue.. i went back to ask for tissue, she gave me a smirk, looked at the mayabang waitress.. then gave me 1 piece.. WTF.. tissue lang iyan

Heaven and Eggs, Glorietta- Hay, tubig lang, 1 hour bago dumating!!!!

Steak Town, Malate- we went there around 7pm. Nakaupo kami 8pm na, not because there was no seat but because there's no one who wants to clean the tables. Dumating food namin 9:15pm. Imagine how pissed we were just eating the God damn salad because we were so hungry. In the middle of the meal, the head waiter and one of the waiters gotten into a "word" fight. The head waiter shouted the waiter "Bakit mo ako sinisigawan?" then the waiter mumbled something then they were pacified by one of the waiters. I'm never going back!

Worst: McDonald's Commonwealth (in front of Ever Gotesco) has the most incompetent employees ever. They repeat your order correctly but they still give you the wrong stuff. Idiots.

Best: Mandarin Oriental Deli in Gateway.

I've noticed a very clear bias evident in the servers'/CSAs' attitudes based on class. One day I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans and the server was BASTOS and dismissive. Took forever to get my order taken. A week later, I was wearing an office dress shirt and tie and looked very professional (because I was going to hold a team building seminar) and I was treated decently.

Shouldn't all restaurants treat their clients well regardless of appearance of social/income class?

This just threw me off a bit because I grew up in the US and regardless of whether you are wearing flip flops or a Zegna suit, many mid range restaurants (which I classify Max's to be) like Claim Jumper and its ilk treat their patrons alike.
