you should have a specific course in your mind. if you want to take up some computer courses, you can go to the college of engineering. they offer short courses in java and other programming languages.

ah really? i have to be specific? wala bang brochures/leaflets na pinamimigay sa UP kung saan naka-list yung mga colleges tsaka kung ano yung mga short courses na ino-offer nila?

what if i want to learn a foreign language like spanish? or what if i want to learn about film making? saan ako dapat pumunta?

Pag ganyan, punta ka sa iba't-ibang colleges to find out their "short course offerings." For film, sa College of Mass Communication. For European languages, sa Department of European Languages of the College of Arts and Letters.

You can go to http://www.upd.edu.ph/acad.htm and try to find out which particular college would offer the type of short course you'd like to enroll in.

nice one

Actually, just across UP SOLAIR is the ISSI (forgot what it stands for). Anyway, they have short courses on livelihood skills such as Catering , Garment making, etc... is that fun enough?

NOPE, UP does not have a brochure per se but you have to do the leg work by going from school to school , so to speak.

Good Luck , maybe i might bump into you one of these days

ISSI, if I recall correctly, stands for the Institute for Small-Scale Industries.
