Post Laptop won't go on standby after Windows Update

Hi.

I recently downloaded the lated updates from the Windows Update website for my laptop. Problem is, the driver for the display won't let my laptop go on standby anymore.

Has anyone experienced the same problem? Found any solution for it?

Hmm. What did you remove?

Oo nga pala, I can't really say for sure if it was installing the files from Windows Update or installing a new ZIP drive that caused it.

Huhuhu. I want my standby mode!

Ayaw talaga! It says something like, "The driver for 'Digital Flat Panel (1024 x 728)' is preventing this machine to enter the standby mode..." Basta, something to that effect. Aaaack!
