    Post Kyla vs. Nina

Kyla the R&B Princess... meet the Soul Siren, Nina!

Nina has launched her debut album "Heaven" last Sunday on SOP, featuring the carrier single of the same title.

So far so good... her sound seems to be a fusion of Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles, much like Kyla's.

So, who do you vote for? I'm yet to decide

im voting for nina...no doubt about it...
used to like kyle but lately i feel like she's trying too hard to make her voice sound shaky...

i think i'll vote for KYLA... she's a very nice person kasi. though i can't compare her personality with that of NINA's, since i haven't met her in person yet.

but in all fairness to NINA, i like her voice also.

i think, so far, KYLA and NINA's songs are the only OPM songs (by a solo artist) that i've heard in RX, Magic and RT. that just means BOTH of them are GOOD!!!

I think it's too soon to tell whether Nina can achieve what Kyla has. I respect them both very much as artists because they obviously are very talented women.

Both of them also have tried being in a band, doing rounds in bars, which I think every singer should go through first.

I like "Heaven". It's quite catchy. I do hope Nina comes out with her love songs naman so we'll be able to see if it's going to be as successful as Kyla's "Hanggang Ngayon".

As for voice quality, si Kyla talaga pangR&B ang voice. I think Nina's voice is more versatile and mas may "buga", so to speak.

    Nina -

KYLA no doubt is way..... ahead & better than Nina. Kyla has proven worth of being the R&B Princess, with awards under her belt (Best R&B artist - Awit Awards) including that of MTV southeast asia viewers choice (International). Not to mention the duet with Gary V. & Fralipo lippi, guesting at concerts of Martin N., Gary V., South Border, Blue, etc. She has also earned the respect of co-artist like Regine, Jaya, Lani, Janno, Sharon C., Martin N., so many to mention, Nina still has to prove herself & hope she achieves at least half of what Kyla has.

Girl I think you havent really heard kyla sing. Kyla is so versatile, if you only have watched her rendition of bridge over troubled water, Butterfly (duet with regine), guesting sa SIS were she sang emotions, and also nung anniversary ng Mel & Jay, were she sang "Cant take that away from me". Grabe galing, I have never admired local artist until kyla came.

i have seen Nina's video for HEAVEN,medyo maganda yung pagkakagawa (nung video) pero i don't find her very much appealing...basta.....

i like kyla more, pero yoko nung video nila ng freestyle, parang nacconscious siya habang kumakanta...yun ang dapat baguhin niya..
