id love to read tips for nikkilove, as we are also on a budget. tips din sana on how to get cheap tickets. Id love to catch as many boradway shows as i can. wicked, spiderman and mama mia are musts for me

Hi NY Fans!

going back to NY this Nov. I'll be going with my sister.

unfortunately, di naman kami alta sociedad to tour as many states as she wants to (go to), and having chosen an expensive city to tour like NY, we are limited,

unlike before when I went there with friends, who I had to share the hotel rates with,

so going to my point, there would be no new york pass this time,

but still with hop on and off bus,

and I just let her picked her top 3 paid attractions, she chose, Ferry to Liberty, Observation Deck at Empire State and a Broadway Musical (Wicked).

I also plan to take her to the most popular free tourist attractions, of course Times Square, Grand Central, Central Park, Rockefeller etc.

My question is, since Ive been backreading, and masakit na ulo ko, I haven't read much topic for these 2 particular questions,

Can anyone, give tips on dining and another broadway musical.

Ive seen wicked so Im not going to accompany her there, sana kung rate like ng sinehan yun, I would, but since its like $150, hello, Im not going to spend on it again,

another is dining. I must admit, we had lousy choices when we first went there, except for Peter Luger.

Yung medyo carry lang ng budget, mga casual cafe or restaurants
not the common ones like Red Lobster's or Applebees. Yung medyo tatak NY.

and we would also try those cheap food joints like Pizza or Hotdog for merienda.

Hope someone can help and suggest based on their experiences. TIA

di kasi kami kumuha ng all routes tour, masyadong mahal na, manhattan bus route lang. sana madaanan din namin yan.

Excited ka na talaga sa travel nyo! hindi na yata ako marunong mag-upload bakit hindi lumabas un picture hehehe yum yum talaga yan! parang $15 lang! laki ng serving kaya nagshare na lang kami ni hubby, sa tapat ng madame tussauds sa 42st. kami naman ni hubby mag-explore din sa Canada this coming sept. then tawid kami sa Cali by dec or jan. para takasan ang winter sa Canada hehehe

lol at Olive Garden. pero in fairness, na excite din naman ako nung unang kain namin dyan. of course syempre this time, I want to feel yung talagang NY dining experience.

nice tips too, purple, I like to try those for snacks.

yung Flame Diner sa Midtown West located siya sa corner ng 9th Ave. cor. 58th St.

yung Zaitzeff sa Lower Manhattan located naman siya sa Nassau St. cor. John St. ang mga pagkain sa diner na ito are burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, veggie salads.

btw, we cut our NY trip to 4 days, the remaining would be a trip to DC. gusto makita ni sis ang White House and Lincoln Memorial. I love DC too, so were excited na talaga.

if you are looking for Filipino food there's Payag along 52-34 Roosevelt. You can take the 7 train, alight at 52nd station. It should just be below the station.
