my classmate was asked by their prof to write 10 parts of the reproductive system in tagalog then nagbunutan ng names and they should read those words aloud in front of the class!
bakit kaya tayo nahihiyang sabihin yung Filipino counterparts ng penis, vagina, etc. samantalang pag english naman, ok lang?

MALAKAS KASI DATING NG FILIPINO. di tulad ng english:"v---na" sa atin:"p--e, k-i-" malutong. tapos pag guro ang nagsabi, lagot na. baka mademanda pa!

    ay sus
i don't think there should be anything wron with filipino translations. kasi, ang filipino names are mostly derived from the street, at yun nga, malutong ang tunog, kaya yon... ang **** o ****** - galing yan sa kalye... ang totoong translation daw ng vagina sa filipino ay puerta. =)

And what were the Pilipino translations given? I am very curious to know.

BTW, hindi lang sa pilipino yung repetitive nature ng mga salita. Ang Indonesian Bahasa ay may ganyan ding katangian. Alam nyo ba na ang "Kiki" sa Indonesia ay gamit bilang isang pangalan para sa kababaihan? Pwera biro!
