If you are really interested, hindi ka mahihirapan.

I have learned lots of dialects as well as languages...in the passage of time...with lots of practice, u will be able to converse with people.

O siya, success with your endeavor...

BTW...here's a beautiful love song...perhaps ur bf knows this...

Malinak lay labi, Oras lay mareen
    Mapalpalnay dagem, Katekep toy linaew
Samit day kugip ko, Binangonan kon tampol
Lapu'd say linggas mo, Sikan-sikay amamayoen

    Refrain:

Lalo la bilay no sika lay nanengneng
Napunas lan amin so ermin ya akbibiten
No nanonotan ko lay samit day ugalim
Agtaka nalingwanan anggad kaoyos na bilay.

    Repeat refrain.

And here's the English translation with added lyrics to be spoken before the song.

    a night piece

a personal translation from a Pangasinan serenade entitled "Malinac Lay Labi"

( Your eyes excelled the morning sun
Your smile laden my breast with flame
I'll boast upon that lilting sun
Your beauty worthy of a name
O what shall I give but a song
A song to sing my love for you
A song to time and space belong
Until the world is born anew )

    (Here is the song translation)

The night is calm my love
    And time is fleeting still

    The wind is breathing low
    Kissed by the evening dew

How sweet it is to dream
That I have to wake for you

    Your fair attemper face
    I shall always caress

O when the night is come
And you my love I see

    The sadness all is gone
    Buried deeply in my soul

    Whenever I recall
Loving ways you are wont to

    I shall not forget you
Till I am laid to rest

    hi there,
wouldn't you mine if i'll correct your word PANGGALATOK? i guess the the right word for that is PANGGASININSE. but you're okey, they won't mind being callled pangalatok. i myself is part PANGGALATOK and part PAMPANGUENYO. "ay PANGGALATOK KA pala" sabi nila. ang tanong ko naman sa kanya ay " saan ba ang probinsiya mo"? sagot naman nila ay " taga Maynila ako" oh really? although i was born and raised in Manila i always visit my parents'relatives and their parents in their provinces. so i'm either KAPAMPANGAN OR PANGGALATOK. pinaghalo ang magastos at kuripot. maselan at hindi maselan sa pagkain. kulay PANGGALATOK pero mukhang KAPAMPANGAN. kung minsan masipag at kung minsan naman ay tamad. but i rather be known as a PANGGALATOK than a KAPAMPANGAN or a MANILENYO. wanna learn more about their personalities? (exept for the MANELINYO of course)

    meron - wala (pangasinan)

Panggalatok is not the right term for the dialect. The dialect is Pangasinan as also the name of the province. Pangasinense is the name given to the local folks of Pangasinan

Just want to share this site
