i stopped by powerbooks before heading home, and these are the books that i got:



this book was originally priced at php 1,325; was able to get this at a markdown rate of php 705. i saw the book's pages already and it's going to be a monster read. almost 1,500 pages with small margins.



one of the two books i finally got to special-order today. got this for php 2,300 (plus shipping). i wanted to get this because this is one of the most critically-acclaimed world war 2 books.



the other book that i special-ordered. the price is php 6,700 (plus shipping). too pricey, but i really wanted to get this because this is a rare ww2 book and a very good one at it.

I've just received my results for an important exam yesterday and as a reward for myself (with some financial help from my mom) I went to buy some books I've been longing to have. So here's the latest ones I bought.

1. "If You're Reading This, It's Too Late" By Pseudonymous Bosch
2. "Sherlock Holmes The Complete Novels and Stories Volume I" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
3. "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee
4."The House of Silk: A Sherlock Holmes Novel" by Anthony Horowitz

I placed an order for Sherlock Holmes The Complete Novels and Short Stories Volume II at Fully Booked today (I'm waiting for their confirmation) since every NBS branch I went to, they don't have second volume on stock. How odd, isn't it? Just when I was going to buy the Sherlock Holmes novels, they suddenly went out-of-stock.
