The last book I bought was "Leaders: from Marcos to Arroyo" by Atty Homobono Adaza. I bought it from barnesandnoble.com. It's also available at amazon.com.

Every Filipino who loves politics or history should read this book. The revelations about Philippine presidents are really an eye-opener, especially the parts about Cory Aquino and Kamag-anak, Inc. It was written by Atty Adaza, who was an eyewitness. This book is so controversial it had difficulty finding a Philippine publisher because no one wanted to touch it.

If you care about your country, read this book. Mag-isip ka talaga and it will change the way you view things. My friends in the Philippines bought their copies at Popular Bookstore and Central Book Supply.

    1. Salman Rushdie's The Satanic Verses (P449)
    Booker Prize finalist
My clandestine romance with Rushdie started in college with his Midnights Children, aptly called, the Booker of Bookers. I forgot him for a while there, until this afternoon at Alabang Town Center.
    Can I say orgasm? Yihaaaa!

    2. Aravind Adiga's The White Tiger (don't know how much, 399 ata)
2008 Man Booker Prize (UK's version of the Pulitzer)
This won over Ian MacEwan's Amsterdam (another Booker Prize novel). I'll read Amsterdam next year ha-ha.
