Fresh fruits like Persimmons, Fresh Cherries and Honeycrisp Apples.
Emerald mix nuts, Huy Fong - Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, Pickled baby peppers or Pickled jalapeno, Agave Sweetener, Beef Jerky/sticks, Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, Turkish delight, Chocolate Almond Cherry Clusters and Hawaiian Cappuccino from Hawaiian Isles Kona Coffee Co..
when were kids, favorite namin pasalubong from relatives from the states,
Cadburry's Fruit and Nut, Hawaiian Host Macadamia, Pistachio, Mr. Peanut Cashew, Quickly Chocolate Milk,
toys mostly Hello Kitty and mga accessories and mga playsets like housing, Barbie, sa boys Matchbox and Lego,

It's better to ask for edible stuff that's hard to find here. Asking for dry goods and gadgets medyo nakakahiya kasi meron naman dito. So you're basically asking them to buy you stuff. eh pwede mo naman bilhin dito. Pag balik naman nila sa states puno rin naman yun balikbayan box nila with things they miss from here. Mas mahal pa nga magpasalubong papuntang Amerika eh. Mag kano export quality tinapang bangus, nasa 350/pc, a kilo of Ube halaya is about 450 plus kasilyo, pickled manggo, purong kalamansi juice, pinangat na dilis and others.
Persimmons here comes from China and it's not as sweet ang crunchy, Fresh Cherries kulang ang isang malaking bowl sa isang upuan and honeycrisp apples never pa akong nakakita dito available.
Kung prone sa flood and other disasters yung lugar nyo dito sa pinas you can send them emergency food packets from Mountain House. The 72 hour kit is good enough per person. They're not suppose to eat it unless for emergencies. The packets have a 10 years shelf life. If you get the #10 cans the shelf life, believe it or not, is 25 years.
Now ko lang naalala.... yung isang provincemate ko tuwing magbabakasyon dito ay may pabango ang pasalubong sa akin. Yung isa naman ay laging mamahaling alak.
actually pasalubong is supposed to be fun, right? It's better to ask for edible stuff that's hard to find here. Asking for dry goods and gadgets medyo nakakahiya kasi meron naman dito. So you're basically asking them to buy you stuff. eh pwede mo naman bilhin dito. Pag balik naman nila sa states puno rin naman yun balikbayan box nila with things they miss from here. and you are right, pilipino foods are not cheap here.what bothers me is the peanut butter.
ang jar na about 5 inch tall and 8 inch round is freakin $5.00
samantalang my MIL always brought back here a humungous plastic container of peanut butter here for measly 800 pesos, imagine that!
Nung first time magbalikbayan ang biyenan ko ang dala niya ay SANKA coffee at malalaking bawang. Hindi pa kasi common ang big garlic noon pero ngayon yung small garlic ang hindi na common.
Badger 175 Crescendo.
However, we don't hassle our balikbayan relatives for pasalubongs whenever they return to the motherland for a vacation.
They can keep all those bulky grocery and discount store goods and save themselves the trouble of "smuggling" (ahahaha) them in.
Ang importante e makita at makasama namin sila ng personal.
the end of my contract and a ticket home to sweet mexifornia.
