hi everyone, Good day! I would just like to ask if hindi naman malaking factor ang pagiging unemployed to be denied of a tourist visa? I'm currently not working kasi, and my sister is inviting me to go to Australia along with my mom, aunt, our other sister & my boyfriend because she will be getting married this December. She has provided us sufficient documents naman that we will include in our application, such as our invitation letters, bank statements (evidence that she can provide/support our stay while we're there), a copy of her receipt for the wedding reception and her tenancy contract. I hope you can answer my inquiry and I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon!

ask ko lang may kilala na ba kayo na single tapos nakapasa sa migration process ng australia..un ang problema ko kasi prang wala pa akong alam na single tapos naapprove mostly mga family talga ...

yung utol ko single sya nabigyan ng 1 yr validity, 3mos stay multiple entry--binigyan namin ng utol ko dito ng invitation tapos matagal na sya sa work nya sa pinas.....

we need advice po re: study and working in au

Me and my hubby decided to go to Au habang bata pa and wala pang baby. Since walang skilled na pwede for both our occupation last resort namin is student visa. I have red many forums re student visa but still we are confuse and afraid as well to pursue Au.

Ask ko lang po,
1. Mahirap po bang makahanap ng work with student visa holder wd 20 hr/week restriction but my hubby can work unlimited since masters naman kukunin ko (true ba ito??)
2. We can afford the tuition fee for 1st sem and yung pocket money namin around 250,000 Php ay utang lang so we need to find work asap.
3. Sa Victoria Uni in Melbourne ako papasok since yun na yung pinakamura na tuition fee at $9000 . Ok po ba ang school na to?
4. I have red in many forum na racial discrimination in Melbourne is rampant based sa mga indian students (how true po ba ito).
5. We can still change the city/uni coz dpa ako ngbabayad ng Tuition fee. Any suggestion if sang city maganda for students and san mabilis makahanap ng work?

my opinionated answers:

1: mahirap pero kung hindi ka mapili then mas may chance ka makahanap , remember ang isa sa mga kalaban mo sa pag hahanap ng mga work dun ay mga permanent residents na bagong salta at naghahanap din ng kahit na anong work, mga kapareho mong student visa din pero mag work experience na...and the list goes on...pero at the end of the day walang mahirap kapag matyaga ka at walang arte sa katawan.

2. rule number 1 sa pag apply ng tourist visa kailangan marami kang bala/ moola/ funds that is easily accesible otherwise kakilala/kamaganak na handa kang tulungan financially most importantly...

3. check mo yung best universities in melbourne via google...

4. kahit saan kang lugar nasa sipag at tyaga at kung hindi ka mapili sa work lalapitan ka ng swerte.

176 pag sponsored ka ng kamag anak or state mabilis ma process lalo na kung state sponsored ka and im talking between 1-6mos....
175 kahit anong state at kahit walang nag sponsor sayo above generally mas matagal ito ma process sa pagkaka alam ko which is around 6mos-2yrs

opinion ko lang base sa mga nalaman ko sa mga kakilala ko

Hi guys, I am currently applying for the 176 visa, i will be sponsored by my aunt in AU. I am currently engaged and we plan to get married June 2012.

I would like to ask if I state my fiance as my secondary applicant, is that an additional charge? I am confused with is stated on 990i form (http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/990i.pdf), the "2nd instalment" says "Any dependants (included in application) 18 years or over with less than functional English".

So what I am confused about is if I do not include my fiance, will I still pay both the 1st installment and 2nd installment?

pag nag submit kna ng application at inaantay mo palang yung result tapos inad mo na sya then wala kang babayaran na additional fee kse considered as one application yun...

pag natanggap mo na yung visa mo tapos mag file ka ng visa nya as your dependent dun ka magbabayad ng panibagong application processing fee.

Oh wow, i was given the multiple entry visa! thank you Lord!

here were the requirements I passed. Note that this was my second application, I was granted a single entry visa to AU last August. I passed the same set of requirements as last year.

1. application form
2. P5,100 bank check (previously P4,700)
3. bank cert with P128,000 savings
4. COE with leave approval (P800,000 annual salary), 5 years with the company
5. NSO (I called the NSO to forward the certificate straight to the embassy, then I paid 330 to Metrobank)
6. letter of invitation from my friend, tenancy agreement and passport copy because he's supporting my accommodation.

the only difference from this application to the first one was, in the question : 'do you plan to enter Australia in more than one occasion', I ticked yes, and put the details why. I wrote "my friends and I are planning to have a reunion around October but nothing is final" I wanted to be honest that's why I specifically said it was only tentative.

hi, me and my family are planning to get a tourist visa. we want to go last week of october. 1 week lang naman plan namin kasi may school pa yun isa kasama namin plus we have work din. vacation lang talaga. Yun #5 NSO birth certificate. Need ba talaga original copy? I ask kasi yun cousin ko na kaka grant lang ng student visa, she just submitted a photo copy of her birth certificate pero notarized as certified true copy naman. She didn't give her original NSO copy.

Hindi na kailangan yung NSO Birth Certificate. Binalik sa amin yung Birth Cert nung nag lodge kami ng application sa VIA.

Some tips for those who want to apply for tourist visa.

I think dapat first and foremost, yung isasagot niyo sa application form as accurate and as truthful as possible.

Then dapat kumpleto ang documents and supporting documents ninyo. Kung may business kayo, hindi raw enough na ang ipakita niyo ay yung bank certificates and statements. Dapat, supported by other docs such as yung ITR or yung Sec? Para naman sa employed, pay slips and bank statements. Ang importante siguro makita nila may steady income kayo. I think kahit hindi naman ganon kalaki yung amount sa bank (I guess minimum na dito yung 200k), dapat makita siguro ng case officer na meron kayong monthly income and it is enough to support your trip.

So pwede na photo copy lang ng NSO birth certificate? Ipapa notorize ko na lang as certified true copy sya.

maraming accountants dito na nag migrate via skilled permanent visa galing sa iba't ibang bansa at naghahanap ng work kaya dito palang ay may pagpipilian na yung mga oz employers at dina sila mag papagod mag hanap outside oz......dipa kasama dyan yung mga locals dito na accountants na pwedeng pwedeng pirate ng mga employers sa mga ibang companies, and yung mga graduating accounting students dito as well..

just giving you a general scenario though....

kung meron mang oz company na mag hire outside oz ....long shot yun....

Sorry i dont have much ideas on AUS migration since kakalipat lang ng sis ko jan and she just suggested if I would like to bring my family there for migration. They will sponsor us, if needed, eh sayang din opportunity kung meron naman di ba? Based kasi sa iba, in need daw ng accountants dun kaya lang kung madami namang supply, id better stay na lang here in the Phils. I cannot take risks ng basta basta lalo na I have two sons so I need a guaranty din na hindi ganun kahirap maghanap ng work dun.

atleast PR na sya pagdating dito sa AUS..unlike pag under student visa ka..yun ang mahirap makahanap ng trabaho...

kung ma-approve ka..pwede ka naman mauna ka muna dito habang naghahanap ka ng trabaho..then pag ok ka na..saka mo na lang kunin mga kids mo....

kung oportunity lang paguusapan at para sa future ng mga anak mo...i can say go for it..

Just to give you a different perspective on looking for an accounting-related job here in Oz, most especially in Brisbane. Me and my wife are both auditors working for the state government. I am an Oz citizen while my wife is applying for the citizenship.

The new government stopped the hiring and renewal of contractors in the government resulting to massive lay-offs. This and the slight recession in the economy makes job hunting a lot more difficult. To give you specific examples, some friends and acquaintances who immigrated here and were CPAs, cannot find jobs here until their fifth or sixth month. There were few who got jobs in their 2nd or 3rd month but there were exceptional cases. Oversupply na ng accountants dito sa Brisbane at Sydney. Yung mga employers dito ang hinahanap pa eh yung mga me Australian experience.
