hey! kindred nabasa ko na *** link. it's quite interesting. To tell you honestly, ambilis na-process nung nag-share ng experience. My guess is sponsored-designated sya or talagang mas mabilis lang kapag sa UK. Case to case basis kasi per country. Pero don't loose hope, kahit matagal it's worth it.

    Yung lang po.
i only got an automated email response from ASPC saying they will reply within 3 working days after receipt of my email pero tapos na yung 3 working days dipa rin nagrereply.

Hello girlfriend22: I'm not really sure how you should approach them; it may be a good idea to take up Hornsby's advice about checking with your bank and sending a detailed email to ASPC instead of calling them up. From my limited experience with Aussies, they can be quite irritable, and become very "mataray" if agitated, even the men.

thanks Hoku. i tried checking my bank draft with metrobank but to no avail...people there don't care they let me wait for 15 mins over the phone, i think deliberately ognoring my inquiry?? ewan ko...hintay ko nalang muna...itong sa ASPC naman they never replied to my emails...sigh...i'll mind my work muna para maging productive ako and wait for their call...

girlfriend22: honestly, that's the best attitude to have about the whole thing. ako rin nung una, nung nagsisimula pa lang mag-compile ng documents, excited ako sobra, ni hindi ako makatulog. but that was 1 and a half years ago (aug '02). if i hadn't changed my attitude and become more realistic with my expectations, i would have given up already. at least now, i'm halfway there, and still living a normal and productive life at the same time. but of course, i still daydream every once in a while about that fateful day when i will finally receive the fateful call from aspc. =) work definitely helps keep your mind off of assieland. and don't worry, i'm sure we'll all see each other there someday. =)

    Thumbs up

girlfriend22: Of course! Pero siguradong nakaka-homesick talaga, lalo na sa simula. That's the time you'll really need your friends around you. Buti nga at dito pa lang nagkakilala na tayong lahat. I'm sure Hornsby would be a very gracious host, diba Hornsby?

hornsby: By "in the pipeline", do you mean your mom and sister are on their way? How soon then? Or do you mean their paperwork is already in? Good luck to them!

hanskyut, hindi natuloy ang application ko. I planned to apply for a Skilled–Designated Area Sponsored visa, pero nagka-problema ang sponsor ko, eh.
tsaka nagbago pa ako ng employer.

maybe next year. 'pag nasama na ang Accountant sa Migration Occupations in Demand List. pwede na akong mag-apply for Skilled-Independent visa.

bond can be refunded as long as you abide by the immigration rules.
