yes, they do. mine was sent via dhl, and a few days (or a week later, i can't remember) after dhl confirmed delivery of the package, the confirmation letter came. you'll find your file reference number here.

girlfriend22: are you sure? i think 3 months is way too long. whose mailing address did you indicate on the application form? maybe it's time you checked it out. i think this is more than enough reason to get in touch with them and check on the status of your forms. by the way, i assume you already sent the payment as well, right?

anghel: aspc stands for adelaide skilled processing center. this is where skilled migrant applications for australia are sent to and processed. as for your other question, you can check out www.immi.gov.au for more details.

May mabilis sumagot at minsan may mabagal.

hornsby: ganun ba? didn't expect that applied to confirmation of receipt of application as well... so does that mean whoever confirms receipt of your document would most likely be the person who will process your application as well?

  12. #32
Hoku: yup. kapag may pangalan nakalagay sa confirmation letter, sya yung assessing officer mo.

Hornsby: I see. Will check it out later. Glad to hear about your brother, what type of visa did he apply for?

  15. #35
Hoku: Skilled - Sponsored. Medyo nagastusan nga lang ako ng AU$3,500.00 (makukuha ko naman after 30 months) dahil ako yung nag-sponsor sa kanya. huhuhuhuhu....

Thank God. Kahit medyo natagalan, ok lang. Just place the results of the assessment, IELTS, certificates, resumes, transcript and diploma, and every possible piece of document that will boost your chances in an envelope then send it to Adelaide. Also, it will be nice if you have a covering letter listing all the documents you have passed.

you're not alone girlfriend22......i mailed my skilled-independent visa application last december 30, 2003 and as per dhl, na receive ng ASPC yung docs ko on january 2, 2004.

i used my friend's credit card (citibank visa) to pay for my visa application. when my friend verified with citibank, may na-receive raw yung citibank na charge amounting to Php 76,349.00 from australia but as bank policy, ASPC should call citibank manila to confirm the charges pa raw bago ma approve. labo no! kinonfirm na nga nung friend ko yung charge pinatatawag pa yung ASPC?

after i learned na ganun nga nangyari i emailed ASPC last january 22, 2003 to inform them of citibank's policy. up to now wala parin akong na-rereceive na email reply from them....haaaayyyy!

hi kindred i also emailed ASPC la ring response

hehe pero nice to know me kasama ako ditong naghihintay at least we could compare kung gaano kabilis o katagal yung processing...

    God bless nalang satin Kindred

    Hi girlfriend22 and Kindred,

d sila sumasagot usually ng business correspondence unless extreme cases. For Kindred, email mo ulit yung details sa kanila at ilagay mo sa subject - Extremely Urgent tapos yung topic.

    Yung lang po.

    thanks for the advice hornsby!

    hi girlfriend22!

have you checked with your bank kung nabawas na yung visa application fee sa account mo? kung naibawas na at least they are processing your application na diba? ang gusto ko lang naman eh ma-charge na yung credit card ng friend ko para at least i'll know na pina-process narin yung application ko.

there's this website that i check-out once in a while rin at medyo nakatulong sya sa pagsagot nung mga questions ko regarding migration to australia. the site is www.britishexpats.com. i hope this helps!
