Mawalang galang na pero marami ngang Lasalista ang nasa top ten, pero kahiya-hiya ang passing percentage nyo at only 67 percent. Just a reality check.

    Peace!

    Peace to you too nephthys.

For your info, there is NO university that had a 90+ passing percentage in the May 2002 CPA Board Exam - as you claim. Please read the May 21, 2002 Manila Bulletin news article below.

If YOUR school TOPPED the May 2002 CPA Board Exams in terms of PASSING PERCENTAGE then by all means PRAISE your university- we TRUE La Sallians would even applaud & congratulate your university.

We TRUE La Sallians show our love for our university by praising it for its achievements WITHOUT bashing our competitors. To us its a matter of expressing our school pride not "pagyayabang" as you say. If you have any problem with that then thats your problem - not ours.

The performance of DLSU in the last CPA Board exams is already above average when compared to other schools.

However we should not rest on our laurels. The results was good, alright, but it was in no way exceptional. In fact, the passing rate of DLSU has been on the decline and all measures should be taken to address this.

Ms. Nadurata and the whole Accounting Department should and must have brainstormed already to address this problem. A number of stricter measures have already been put in place I suppose.

I hope this will be of help to DLSU and its students.

i congratulate the students of la salle who made it to the top 10 even top 20. i was disappointed though with the passing rate of la salle. 67% is way to low for a school that is supposedly one of the best in the country. how can you reconcile a graduate of a top business school but failed to pass the cpa board exams. nakakahiya!!!!

This is not new to me. October CPA exams, UP tops, every May exams, DLSU tops. During our time, it was DLSU who got the highest score.

Kilala ko ang 6th Placer na si Giselle Lyn Arellano. She was my sister's classmate in Grade School. Dito ko lang nalaman na sa DLSU rin pala siya nag-aaral.

Congrats to Giselle - a long lost friend.....
