Like you, I'm also a newbie. Pag newbie talaga, medyo excited and tends to be emotional. Hehehe. Lesson learned is invest in blue chips na lang muna while studying the fundamentals of those companies. If you plan to be a day trader (tsupitero), better read books on technical analysis, study the charts and patterns, tska be aware of the market trends. For long term or what they call value investing, books of Benjamin Graham, writings on Warren Buffett's portfolio should be a good start.

ako i receive stocks advice every month from trulyrichclub.may membership per month. pero bawi din.. Yung last batch na nirecommend nila nag-gain ng big interests, smallest was 50% i think.. One stock gained upto 150%. but that doesnt guarantee that we would get same results in the current recommended companies..

Is BDO a blue chip company? is it good buy for long term investment of 10 to 20 years? Instead to deposit your savings to BDO bank, why not buy their shares....

Most anything owned by the richest man in the Philippines is considered blue chip. Another safe bet sa stocks ang BDO. Although yung banking and financial sector is a bit on the conservative side when it comes to growth. Another great add ito for long term investment. Or try their UITFs. Yung peso balanced fund nila, mixture of fixed income, plus 70-80% equities (of other blue chip companies). Bottom line, you'll never go wrong with a Henry Sy owned company.

Thanks for the info.. That's why I'm choosing BDO because of Henry Sy but its not yet final. I still continue to research which company to invest for long term...

Based on the link, most of the stock picks are nagtataasan na talaga at malapit na sa "buy below price".. Only CEB and FPH are good picks for long term kasi malayo pa yung current price nila sa "buy below price"..

We are in a bull market. Just hold on to your guns. Buy more, buy anything if you like. Stay with the blues and the secondaries. Leave the third liners to the speculators and gamblers.
