well it's really a hell of a job to check out all stocks and monitor activites..

i'd still go with mutual funds. if you are disiplined, have a good set of goals and a time frame and determined to achieve them, you'll get those investment goals

Most of the time, dividends are reinvested by the mutual fund company - meaning they will use this to buy additional investments based on their mandate...

This is BS and I beg to disagree, all these investments are reinvested in the fund and will benefit (or the other way around if bets go wrong) all the investors.

FYI, mutual fund companies earn from management fees (which accrues daily and will just be deducted from the Net Asset Value or NAV of the fund).

MEG is on the bullish mode. Foreign buyers are flocking in.

Too late for MEG and it might correct soon though I can see a possibility of it reaching 1.6x but I wouldn't buy a current market price. There are other stocks that has a better risk/reward ratio and can explode anytime soon.

I aim to get URC and MWA coz generally I use them so hopefully di ako magkakamali... JFC sana pero mataas kasi ngayon so stick muna ako sa 2 stocks at quarterly...

URC is a good play on branded consumer goods. Very nice performance, esp their foreign sales. Based on research, the FV is around P31/sh. So it's almost fully valued, but has very good growth potential. I like this issue myself.

What's MWA? Maybe you meant MWC? I like this issue too. Steady but slow growth. Very solid fundamentals. Very good defensive stock in my view. I'd probably buy more if Phisix goes down another 100 pts.
