There's such a thing as "sell on news" as well. So what's the best move if you don't have inside information? Don't do nothing!

Uy ngayon ko lang nabasa. You're right bab, its a speculative move on my part to buy a "basura" stock. I bought it on speculation, i think its only proper to sell it on speculation, makes sense to me.

In the coming weeks or months my mindset would be, if the market corrects further, its an opportunity for me to add up or average down on measured intervals to my 5 core stocks to bring my average prices down. If it goes up i'll let the profits run. Either way, i'll feel happy no matter which direction the market goes. That's the beauty of long term investing.

Buy and hold investor ako....mga winners ako: SMB, got it at P14.50/share and still holding it, went to a high of P177; PLDT, got it at P650/share and still holding it, went to a high of P2,680; JG Summit, got it at P7.00/share, still holding, went to a high of P27.......loser ako sa Globe, got it P1,140 and Ayala at P505, now it's at P390...huhuhu..

you should also know when to sell.

Take profit na ba ako dito? I dont like to gamble on volatile stocks, as I cant manage them everyday. PCOR has been a bearish run as of late.

^ Yep, still holding LND. Didn't expect LND to go up this much and this soon. But who am I to complain?

I already sold 75% of my SMP positions at 1,000. Still holding very few shares bought from 194.80.

Regarding PCOR, I believe it still has some gas left in its tank, and it may just be consolidating withing a wide range for the meantime. I am actually looking to buy back PCOR at around 15.00, and cut immediately if price falls below the 15.00 key support level. I already sold PCOR at 17.02. But in your case, set your stop limit nalang below 15.00, just to be safe.

2. may age requirement ba dito? since 18 palang ako
3. kelangan ba talaga pumunta directly sa PSE office pag bibili/magbebenta ng stocks?
4. ilan po ba ang minimum number of shares sa SMP at PCOR?
5. kelangan pa ba mag bukas separate bank account para dito?
6. sa 18k ko, may mabibili na po ba akong stocks? since nabasa ko na 5k ang minimum para makabili

SMP is overpriced at 800ish (went up 1k+). you dont trade stocks like this with .1% free float

- check board lot requirements. ( SMP= 10 , PCOR= 100)

- yup.

i suggest you invest in blue chips companies, not with those less than .1% free float level.
