I have a friend who bought a cell phone at Rockfire International Trading in Green Hills . She noticed that the 6150 she bought had a defect in its screen. She had it returned after two days but instead of being accomodated, this ugly and skinny chinese guy shouted at her saying she's bought the phone in good condition and is returning the phone with a defect in the screen. Yet she never even scratched the phone. I mean, hey...wouldnt you take good care of your 6150 which you bought with your own sweat? This RockFire Int'l Trading offered to fix the LCD instead for PhP750 saying they're covering half the expense already.

Anyways, here comes another guy who received a defective battery. He said he is returning it only after a week because the the past typhoon. The same Rockfire Int'l Trading shouts at this guy and says "ginamit mo na yan tapos isasauli mo sa amin!" Sigh, doesn't really care about its customers basta nakabenta na.

I share this experience to all of you. I tell you, very traumatic experience. Remember the name:

ROCKFIRE INT'L TRADING
Owners: Jenny, Philip

Thanks for that bit of information for the rest of us consumers! I'll keep Rockfire in mind and steer clear of it!

Hi. I know this topic is OLD already but I just want to share the same experience I had with ROCKFIRE INTERNATIONAL in Greenhills.

Last year (I can't remember when), I went to Rockfire and bought a Samsung SGH-600 phone. The Chinese lady was very nice that she answered all of my questions about the phone. They even told me that they would give me a warranty. So, I bought the phone that moment. However, after 2 days, I noticed that my phone had a certain defect - people were complaining that they couldn't reach me. I tried calling myself using different phones and true enough, I always hear the message: "The subscriber cannot be reached..." My phone had a strong signal.
To make it short, I brought it back to the shop with my mom.

However, the 2 Chinese sisters and their Philip, their brother didn't entertain us. They even had a shouting match with us. They let us wait for 2 hours to verify my complaints about the phone. They tested it and they actually experienced what I was complaining about. However, they told us that they couldn't replace the phone because they had no more units left of the Samsung SGH-600! And they told us that they weren't sure if they would ever get another shipment of the phone. And asked to repair it, they said they would have to charge us for everything. Then they even let us wait for a few more days to have it repaired by their technician. They didn't allow us to have it repaired at other service centers and have them pay for the repair service.

Wow... after a few days, they couldn't fix the phone. They said that upon further testing, the phone had no defects at all! It was a bug in the phone. We asked for a refund and they didn't want to return the money. They claimed they didn't have to because the phone didn't have decfects. It was working because ... the phone (according to them) can dial, call, and send text messages.

In the end, we couldn't do anything. The phone got stuck in our house for a few months until somebody agreed to buy it and have it repaired in Samsung Korea (A nice Korean man bought it and said that he can have it repaired/exchanged in Korea).

Conclusion: Do not ever buy from Rockfire International! Remember the name of the owner: PHILIP CO ( I dont remember the names of her 2 sisters).

Actually, Rockfire has 2 stores. The cellular phone shop is located in the Ground Floor of Virra Mall. The other store is located in the 2nd floor (they sell PIRATED Playstation discs there).

where is this rockfire in virra mall? my friend also had a similar experience with another shop in GH (can't remember the name though), he bought a 3210 then after 2 wks, he noticed there is something wrong with the LCD. He went back to the shop to replace but they wouldn't, they can replace it daw but he has to pay for P1500! ok lang sila? it's not included in the warranty daw kc. kups talaga!

Well that's the risk of buying phones to an unauthorize dealer. Better yet, it's still more advisable to buy a phone on a credited outlet. It's a lot expensive but it's worth it, less hassle if you know what i mean.

knows

Anyway, I agree with $braggy$. Isumbong niyo na lang nga sa DTI. Why don't all of you complainants band together to shut them down for good. Tapos magsulta kayo sa Inquirer! Yan! Um!

Nanloloko! Tapos tawag ako ulit two days after, aba sira pa rin daw.

mytagirl, its unfair to generalize that Chinese are "manlolokos" as you say it. "Pure" pinoys are manlolokos too... Just be careful with your choice of words.

I'm not Chinese, but I'd rather that you not generalize...
